Good and fresh - wish they had a larger selection and hot food section but overall really good for health and specialty items.

Big fan of Earth Fare! Our son is a student at Appalachian State University & we have given him a credit card to shop there for healthier options. Earlier this year, he had a persistent stomach issue & we sent him in & he picked up probiotics and enzymes and he felt better than what was prescribed by the university clinic. So we highly recommend the Wellness department!
As an independent cancer researcher in science, I worry about & advocate against the long-term effects of dyes & preservatives on the body.
Earth Fare’s mission & “boot list” is why I never worry about what we eat or consume when I pick it up from their store. Sign up for the rewards. It’s quick and easy and the benefits add up quickly!
Also! The emails with daily offers are the most helpful & the savings are incredible! We scored grass-fed ribeye for only 9.99 a lb. We usually pay 23.00 or more per lb at the nearest Whole Foods. I plan on sharing this information with my neighbors.
The Grab & Go food options are awesome! I noticed a pizza making kit in that section. I can imagine doing that as an activity with kids. That dough said organic! Yes to that!
Earth Fare’s commitment to sourcing as much local produce as possible within a 100 mile radius is admirable!
Please note! Amazon returns are not available at Earth Fare, someone said people walk in all the time with Amazon packages. Not done here!

Limited selection and the pricing is incorrectly charged by the cashier Anthony. Peaches at $2.99/ lb charged $4.99/lb as organic items. This is more of the norm at thus store where produce and fruits are routinely overcharged. The associates also need some level of awareness in bagging as Anthony bagged my fish and bread with heavier items such as fruits in the same bag thus having the fish crushed . Very limited fresh seafood and just 1 attendant makes it very time consuming process of waiting to get what you want
The guy in seafood is arrogant too when I pointed at the salmon he asked me which one and when I told him the one I am pointing at he told me that’s Alaskan salmon that I asked. I guess he can’t see and the label on the salmon didn’t say it was Alaskan salmon.
Not an acceptable level of service and overcharging with new stores coming up around the neighborhood they better up their game if they don’t want to go bankrupt again

I enjoy shopping at Earth Fare. I like the amount of organic produce and paleo options.

They mislabel their organic produce. The sign might say organic but the sticker on the produce doesn’t match. So you are paying organic prices for non organic produce.

I had previously shopped at earthfare stores in NC before so many of the closures. They were always excellent, with good prices and nice produce. I was initially excited when I discovered one in Concord. However, except for the body and vitamins section, I was disappointed to discover that the grocery (non perishables) were probably higher by at least 2 bucks. Same thing with the frozen stuff. The produce section was not good, as many items looked like they were not fresh. I did not bother with the meat department, it looked awful. I left disappointed that it was not the same as before. I had to go elsewhere to complete my shopping.

This is the ONLY grocery store I’ve been to that does not keep water in their coolers for you to purchase. They literally have a cooler full of kombucha and probiotic drinks along with coffee, but not just plain water. The store associates even walked the store to see if there was any cold water to purchase. This store products are geared toward health but yet you can’t even get cold water nor sparkling water for that matter.
Even Food Lion and Aldi’s have cold water to purchase.

Store has its positives but it’s expensive when comparing organic products with competitor stores. Worst part (hence the 1 star) many products are expired, especially the frozen ones and even fruit and vegetables. I don’t like paying premium prices for expired products.

Love this grocer. They try hard to keep and stay healthy. Love all the organics. Easy aisles/directions. Fresh meat, deli, produce sections. Clean. Amazing employees.

I was shopping for essential oils to make my own bug repellent because I work outside. I was wearing a rancher hat and the manager obviously was keeping an eye on me because essential oils can literally cost more than gold. Many of the samplers were missing or stolen. I was looking for cardamom essential oil. I said something about how the hippies stole it. (Who else steals cedarwood essential oil?) she said hippies are good people and rednecks steal and stared me down. I was wearing a rancher hat, I just bought at Boot Barn. I wore it for 5 minutes and the manager implied to me I was a redneck. I am not a redneck but I like essential oils, and natural food. I am a customer and my budget was much higher before I was basically shewed out the door. I bet farmers grew all the food and ranchers raised all the meat in her store. To call those people rednecks is pure ignorance. I will buy online from now on, since I don't LOOK like I fit in.

One of the better grocery stores in the area. Smaller than other Earth Fares I've been to, but the meat and produce is consistent. Better off going elsewhere for your non-perishables, imo, but their selection is still decent in a pinch.Staff is lovely - front-end staff in particular. Always kind and helpful.Prices can certainly be high - sign up for their emails, they give out digital discounts daily.

They're out of sourdough bread 80% of the time. I've asked numerous managers, they say they'll look into it, and next week still it's out. If you can't order enough to ever have an item reliably stocked it's very annoying and, in this case, has driven me elsewhere.
