The CVS Minute Clinic and pharmacy at the Poplar Tent location are fantastic!! Excellent service and caring staff. I’ve had BAD experiences at other locations. This CVS is top notch and I was extremely impressed with the quality of service.

A business model that takes a pharmacist away from being able to fill prescriptions, and keep customers waiting for 45 minutes for a prescription that is already in a bag and waiting behind the counter, while the pharmacist is tasked with giving vaccines, is a very poor business model. The staff is doing the best they can, but they clearly need another pharmacist on duty.

We had a prescription placed Friday morning which was needed the same day. Saturday morning, it was still unfilled. Called the pharmacy and nobody ever picked up. After being on hold for 40 minutes, I eventually drove down to the store. They told me they just hadn't filled it yet. After a 25 minute wait, they finally got it for me. They were friendly and seemed understaffed for how busy they were, but looking at other reviews, apparently that's usually how it is. We will be looking for a different pharmacy.

We have a monthly prescription which has a few approvals that need to be completed before it can be filled. Every month, after we complete our portion of the pre-authorization, we need to notify the pharmacy so they can complete their portion. All of this has to happen before the prescription can be filled. It is next to impossible to get anyone at CVS to answer the phone. Most times I wait 15-20 minutes, listening to the annoying recording about the 14 vaccinations being offered before anyone picks up. This month I called on 6/15 but no one answered. I called back at 8am on 6/16 and after 15 min on hold, the pharmacy told me they didn’t have any in stock and they would order it. They said to call back on 6/17. I called back on 6/17 and was told they don’t get deliveries on the weekend and I’d need to call back on 6/19. I called at 11:45am on 6/19, again had to hold for 15 min just to find out the delivery hadn’t come yet. They told me to call back later. I called again at 3:00pm and held for 25 min - no one ever picked up. Got in the car and drove for 45 min from work to cvs and was on hold the whole time but again, no one ever picked up. When I went into cvs I told them I needed to see if our prescription was in and they said I should have called and I told them I tried but no one ever picked up! They had to go through the prescription bins that had been delivered because they had not had time to do it yet. She found our prescription but when she put it into the system, a different brand had been ordered than what we had been using so the system kicked it out. Luckily, she found the same one we had been using but she had to back out the wrong brand and re-enter the correct brand before it would let her proceed. At that point she told me I needed to get in the pickup line, which had grown to about 10 people!!! Needless to say I was furious. It should not take 5 days and all of this wasted time making unanswered calls and driving to the cvs to get one prescription filled!!!!All needs can not be taken care of with your automated system. Sometimes, we actually need to speak to someone but this is next to impossible. I’m sure they’re doing the best they can, but this store is VERY under staffed. Our insurance made a change this year that we had to use CVS. I promise, if that wasn’t the case, we be back at Harris Teeter and Publix, where you can get a live person on the phone and prompt service.

Every time I come to get my Rx, they seem to be out of it. Come back tomorrow is their constant refrain. The workers in the pharmacy are act as if they are doing you a huge favor to even acknowledge your existence. I wish I had another option.

This Cvs is always busy and always very courteous. The staff here work hard and get the job done with a smile. They greet everyone who walks in and are helpful when needed.

I dealt with other CVS pharmacies and have had outstanding service. This CVS pharmacy staff does not answer the phone. I have to call another pharmacy to get answers about my medications. It's time to change pharmacies.
