I don't usually leave reviews but this time I think it's necessary, about 3 weeks ago I took my dog because she didn't feel well, she didn't want to eat, she didn't want to urinate, she wasn't as active as she usually is, I took her to the vet on a Monday, they did blood tests and gave me the diagnosis that she had pancreatitis, they prescribed a treatment, two days later my dog still hadn't improved at all, I took her back to the vet so he could explain to me what was happening, and they told me to leave her so they could give her some liquids, to my surprise they called me and told me that in reality she doesn't have pancreatitis but rather her uterus is full of pus and that they have to proceed to perform a surgery called pyrometry, then I asked the vet and her assistants how it's possible that the first diagnosis was wrong, where my dog was already taking the medications for pancreatitis when in reality that wasn't what she was taking. I had, my dog could have died from a misdiagnosis, the questions I asked both the assistants and the vet they did not answer with certainty, they only told me these things happen, they did not have concrete answers, they told me that she could recover 50/50, in short they told me that I had to take her to the ER to operate immediately because she was not well, I asked for help so they could tell me where I could take her that would not cost me so much, since first they told me that it would cost me $3000, then $4000, then that in reality it was $6,000 plus the other expenses that appeared, I did not feel supported at all or anything to help if other way to people afford that ... and the saddest thing is that last year in this same place I euthanized my other dog because they told me that it was the best for him, because he was old, I greatly regret having taken them to this place, they are not competent in their work, thank God I took my dog to another clinic where they explained to me in detail what was happening to my dog, the pros and cons of the operation and why it happened, they have more knowledge, I will never return to this clinic.

I’ve been a client of Coodle Creek Animal Hospital before the building they are currently in was built. Every doctor we’ve ever seen there has been GREAT! We love Dr Little who has been so kind and compassionate with me when that horrible time has come when I had to put my dogs down secondary to their age and / or conditions and Dr Packan, who most frequently sees my current dog, she always gets down on the floor on her knees to greet my dog, hugs her neck, then starts her exam. My dogs tail doesn’t stop wagging and you can see her excitement! The doctors are great to explain what's going on with my pets and then their recommendations; they're wonderful answering when answering all my question. Dr Packan has always been great to call with any abnormal lab results and discuss the results and recommended treatments. Each staff member I’ve worked with there have all been friendly, helpful, supportive and each of my pets have all loved each staff member they’ve been in contact with. I totally recommend Coddle Creek Animal Hospital, all the staff and doctors! They are all wonderful!

If you care about your pet’s health, unfortunately this isn’t the right place for you or your pet. Their website is very misleading and dishonest as it states they care about your pet like they care about their own. While the doctors may be nice and knowledgeable, they are negligent. If they refer you out (Skyline), you will not receive any meaningful communication from Coddle Creek. It was suggested that our sick cat go get an ultrasound and this was promptly actioned. The referral office doesn’t communicate findings and places this responsibility with Coddle Creek. I asked for a phone call via email yesterday and heard nothing. I called and they told me the doctor was busy in surgery all day. They assured me I’d be called back. When I wasn’t, I requested today for another vet to call if I couldn’t speak to our vet. Our vet is out of office and no one has called. I emailed in advising we are desperate for answers because my cat is still sick. I even asked for a referral if they can’t help or don’t know. No response. No help when we called either. Mind you, I offered alternative solutions when they displayed nothing but negligence.

Going with Sophie to visit Coddle Creek Animal Hospital and Dr. Little feels like visiting family or friends! Your pets receive as much love, affection, and attention as they would with them. So grateful for their compassion and asking/answering questions to ensure your furry family members receive excellent care.
Best. Vet. Ever!

We have taken both our small dog and cat here 3 times now. Very caring doctors and staff.
Adding to this review I posted last year. I emailed the clinic Monday night with a concern about my 17yo cat. Dr Jones called me Tuesday morning and discussed my concerns. I picked up meds and a food sample. Within 24 hours my cat is doing better. I couldn't ask for better partners in my cat's health.

Had a 2 week follow up visit for a sick dog today. Vet tech tried to sell me a wellness visit with a senior panel and blood work and bunch of other stuff. Told her I was there for a follow up visit from 2 weeks ago and my dog wasnt well. Then another lady got involved and a vet involved that I didnt ask for and that I asked for Dr. Hackett The lady at the front desk tried to tell me a bordetella shot that was due for another dog I owned and a wellness exam was needed to get it. I was just in there for a Tetanus and wellness exam 5 months ago on the other dog. The office manager had to get involved to straighten her out . Receptionist apologized. The whole visit was a hassle and high pressure sales for additional services. I was stressed out, my dog was stressed out. I got home and transfered records to another vet. It wasnt like that a year ago. Very disappointing. Really liked Dr Little and Dr Hackett but the staff was very disappointing to deal with.

Dr. Long saw Josie for a check up and shots. She addressed an issue for Josie and provided medicine for her. I have every confidence in the treatment she required.
