I have been getting my taxes done here for several years by Jaime Allison. Had the IRS send me something at the end of the year 2021 about 2018. They said I owed 9K or more. So obviously I contacted Jaime to see what was going on. I got no answers! Then her dad Michael Allison stepped in to help me. Still no answers! About 6 months go by and I kept contacting michael to see what was going on, and he let me know a woman named Shelia would be buying the company. First call from Shelia went really great, and she gave me confidence I needed to finally get this matter resolved! So I drop off my 2018 documents and my most current. I'm a simple 1099 and w2. Every year I was charged around $100-$125. Now I was ensured that I thing would change and the new owners would run it just like the previous! I go to pick up my taxes and they charged me $300!!!!! I was absolutely livid! Now nothing has changed over the several year, so why the price increase? They used the same forms as they did previously! When I speak to Sheila she says I used to get a discount and that the forms were what caused the increase. If you are still affiliated with the previous owner and you know I only paid around $100, why would you not ask if $300 was acceptable before you did them? Then she asks if it's "fair" to take the $150 and put it towards the 2018 situation! Ummmm no! Michael already said I wouldn't be charged bc it was not my mistake! Apparently it was the IRS that made a clerical error. So I'm completely done with this place and I would suggest you get your taxes done by someone else!

Michael did not call me to ask any questions regarding how to file my taxes, filing status,etc., even though I have had my taxes done there several times. due to him not asking about Head of Houseld ( how I previously filed), or whether I wanted to electronically file (again how I have always filed in the past) I am STILL waiting on my refund from 2020! I had Michael file my taxes on February 23, 2020. once I realized the errors I contacted him and he had to file an amendment. eleven months later and I still have not gotten my refund. when I called him, he acted like it was an inconvenience to try to resolve my situation. he never even offered a partial refund for the mistakes! I will not be going back, nor will I recommend them to anyone, which I had done several times in the past!

I have Been going to Allison bookkeeping for 6 years I’ve recently switched to see Mike. This year with Covid we weren’t allow to go in the office. Which I knew Something was going to be messed up. I got a letter in the mail about a month ago saying there was a miscalculation and it was a large amount that was miss calculated. So I call Mike and he told me it was what I wrote down for the stimulus checks that he wrote exactly what I wrote so basically blaming me. So I called the office and they sent me the letter we had to fill out when dropping the taxes off. And Sure enough he was wrong I wrote Exactly want we got and he wrote it wrong on our taxes. So I call him back and his reply was NOT SORRY... it was ooo well at least you know exactly what your getting now. I wanted to say so much but I told him he basically screwed us Bc it now has to be reviewed and it could take 10 extra weeks. And his response was is there anything else I can Help you with. Not one time did he ever say sorry or even acknowledge he made the mistake. I filed My taxes in early Feb and I have yet to see them. We called the IRS and the lady told us it has to go through a whole Nother process because it was miss calculated. I understand mistakes happen but all I was Looking for was a sorry for blaming you. So if you go here I would Highly recommend checking the work before spending it off.
