I hate when Amazon says my package will be delivered by the postal service. I know it means I am going to have to go to the post office and pick it up. I have let this go several times but this particular package that was supposed to be delivered by the post office today was my sons birthday present and now it is being held at the post office for pick up and of course it is Sunday and they are not open! His party is today and now his mom and dad’s gift will not be there!!! What happened to rain, snow, sleet or hail we will get your package there because we are the United States postal service… unless it involves getting out of my vehicle to set a package out… thanks Clyde usps you really ruined our day!

This post office not once but has on at least 5 occasions not delivered my packages when it says it's been delivered. I have even reported this to the postmaster and it still happens.On 1 occasion it said it was delivered and I called the higher up postal service to report and they were able to track the package at the time it said delivered it was scanned at the post office. This post office needs to be closed or restaffed. They don't want to even bother to deliver packages they want you to pick them up so what are they being paid for. Something really needs to be done about this postal service because it's getting to be too much not having mail and packages delivered.

I went in today to pick up a package for my mama, we both have had to work recently so today was the only day I could get in to get it… and needless to say the guy that works in there that’s younger with a red beard was not so nice. He said that he had been waiting on me to get there and pick the package up. The package weighed over 50 pounds and he made me carry the thing outside on my own and didn’t even offer to help. The thing was so heavy and awkward to carry. I hope that he was rude because he was just having a bad day and that was it. Next time I come in, I hope that he is more pleasant.

This post office should be closed. It’s a waste honestly. We have a community mail box and mail constantly gets mixed up. Also the bright light shining on the American flag needs to be adjusted to look up at the flag instead it points into peoples homes. Light pollution at its worst.

I moved to the area 12/15/23. Today is 1/27/24. I have submitted 11 (yes, eleven) incident reports regarding mail service. The most recent being that mail could not be delivered so was disposed. It was forwarded by my old post office, but Clyde could not deliver it so they threw it in the trash! My other mail gets forwarded. I will not get a refund from the company I purchased the item from. It was not hazardous or perishable; there was NO LEGITIMATE reason to throw it away. Just one of many crazy things I have experienced from our mail carrier. It is so disappointing, frustrating, and beyond infuriating!

Like many many others have said, got a notice that delivery was attempted and now it's being held for pickup at post office, but no such attempt was ever made. Pretty ridiculous

The mailman is too lazy to get out of his car and deliver packages. I guess he'd rather write a pink slip for my door rather than drop off the package which doesn't make sense since he's gonna make the walk anyway. The blonde that works inside is very condescending and filled with more excuses than sense.

I have been arguing with this post office for almost 4 years now. The carriers are the laziest I have ever encountered. They won't drive up driveways to leave packages at the homes to reduce the risk of theft. They leave them right by the main road in plain sight. We are going to use a different service for shipping instead of providing that revenue to the postal service. I'm going to change as much mail to online statements as possible to reduce the mail needing to be delivered. We also are now having packages shipped to my husband's company and he can bring them home. The less people use this location to stand up to them, the more their jobs will be affected and they may just change their attitudes if they start looking at layoffs for loss of business

The Clyde NC post office delivery service is horrible! they won't even bring in packages to our business. Yesterday they left checks and packages in the middle of the grass!!! I called the office to discuss this and they never answer the phone. For a small community they should be more thoughtful of there care of mail.

Smh been trying to contact them and they won’t answer the phone. The mail person was instructed to leave the package in the mailbox if no one is home and they keep leaving notes in the mailbox that one one is home. This is beyond ridiculous been waiting over 3 weeks for my package. I work during the week so I’m not home to signed for anything. I tried to have them delivered it on Saturday 10/22 and no one came. I still don’t have my package as of 10/28/22.
