The sign reads "butcher on duty 7am to 7 pm." At 5:45 pm, I was going to buy a whole pork loin and needed it sliced. Was told he couldn't do it because they were cleaning. What good is a butcher on duty if they can't slice meat?

Update 6/4/24 No better you can't get out of deli without spending $10. Salad & fruit $12. Their 1st down fall was starting to use fake chicken & pastry gotten worst everyweek.
I see since Biden asked for stores to reduce price The Big C raised deli prices. $10.00 a plate now. Sorry you are not that good.
The very best in the worst hush puppies. Whoever QC is fails in hush puppies !! FOR $10.00. You can pay the same at Gristmill Teds, less @ Domino's Pizza.

Went in to get plates from the deli on Mother's Day yesterday and two workers were standing right in front of us just talking. We mention what we want among our group and they look at us, make a face, and walk off to the back to finish their conversation. We usually don't go to this store and will continue as much. Never felt so disrespected.

Sad the prices of nearly everything has doubled in price here and deli staff is far less than friendly. Meat dept has minimal steak selection and produce is limited at best. No value to shopping here, but in a pinch.

They sold me some expired meat. Why is Carlie C’s in Clinton, North Carolina selling expired meat?
I bought this pack of burgers on 4-12-24 and they expired on 4-5-24. I’m absolutely disgusting and I’ll never shop in this store again. I didn’t realize that the burgers were expired until I had already eaten 2 of them. I’m praying that I don’t get sick.

I purchased two gallons of lemonade, which were cold and fresh. Also, ice tea was delicious. Cake was also fresh and delicious. All of my other items were easy to find, and the prices were reasonable. The store was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I don't usually shop here, but I needed one item and it was on my way home. Finally found my item and went to self checkout. It came to $3.05. Not wanting a lot of change, I put in the nickel and then the $20.00 bill. It gave me $16.95 in change. I got the girl over to help me. There was nothing she could do at the register. First, she suggested going to customer service with my $0.95 and add a nickel so I could get a dollar bill. Really? At that point, I would be out $0.10. Now, this is not a lot of money. It's the principle! That machine takes $0.05 from each person who uses it and that adds up to a lot of cash over time. The girl also suggested to go to customer service to see if I 'could get my nickel back'. I didn't. Get in line for a nickel? I find more money in the parking lot! I won't be in that store again any time soon!

This store has an issue with its refrigerators. I’ve seen on numerous occasions when the food in the store would be unthawed and on the verge of going bad and it’s still being sold to customers. Just recently I went into the store and while I was shopping they were removing meat from off the rack while I had just placed some in my cart 10 minutes prior. This store is notorious for not being about to keep their refrigerators functioning. I would avoid this store at all cost, not unless you’re willing to eat spoiled meat.
