Worked here for a while in 2015. The pay was good for the area but the people were terrible. Lot of drinking and pot smoking in the parking lot during breaks. The Union keeps the long timers very happy. My area in the line was by the oven where the frames come out after painting and I had very limited time to perform my tasks. The people from down the line would crowd in my area to do their tasks, delaying me. I was forced to enter the oven a few feet to gain time to make sure I could get all my tasks completed. Eventually a supervisor approached and yelled at me in front of everyone for entering the oven. I said ok and walked out minutes later never to return.Hope this place burns down.

They do not have parking, you have to arrive exactly at the time of the appointment if they do not take you out and there is nowhere to stop somewhere nearby

Can't say anything for live loads but drop & hooks are really simple. Don't have to deal with anyone but the guard. Find your bills, sign em & head to the off site yard. It's a bit of a pain if you don't know the routine but it's not bad. If you show up to grab a loaded trailer, I suggest don't drop your empty first. The off site yard holds empties & loads. Go to the plant & get your paperwork first. Should save you an extra trip to the other yard. Good place overall. Never had any real issues.

For Truckers this place is trash. Checked in with guard..sent us somewhere else to drop empty. Drove back to facility, guard let us in..told us the next guard shake will give us instructions. Next guard just asked for my pick up trl number(which I do not have) said they only work with trailer numbers not pick up numbers. Said that's gonna be a problem if I don't have my trl #. Guard said to go down to the docks and ask dispatch. THIS FACILITY IS BIG. No signs directing you to where to go. Found multiple docks...finally found the right door, I has to ask my own dispatch for trl number....the paperwork was a free for all...you look for your own paperwork....then I drive around to look for my trl...spend 30 min looking for it only to finally head back to the guard and they sent me to the other lot WHERE I DROPPED MY EMPTY THE FIRST TIME.

It's really easy, you just arrive with the box unhooked and the guard will tell you where to hook the box, glasses, the people are very friendly.

My mother worked for Daimler for many years as a product handler. She enjoyed her job, but was laid off back when we had the recession and Daimler had to layoff a large amount of employees. I attempted to get a job here, but to no avail. I will continue to try and recieve employment through this great company. Persistence and confidence is the key!

I enjoyed working there, learning about building and inspecting large trucks. Solid group off people to work with.

Check in at the first guard shack provide id and paperwork. Take a right then a left go to the second guard shack and do the same. Break the seal. Then head to the trailer lot drop trailer and let the guard know what spot# the trailer is dropped in. Drop loaded trailer. Check out at the guard shack.
