When I was little the Dero's shop and I call it a shop cause they had a very small place in vineyard shopping center, on country club Rd. When food lion was where the sweepstakes is now and beside it was Eckerd drugs, beside that a small Hallmark store. Across from that was a laundry mat, a dance studio and Dero's. Wallpaper was so popular then 1976. My mom was constantly wallpapering our big house and doing things like painting furniture and applying, I think it was called deco podge ( ?, ?,?) Dero's was named after the owner, I don't know, I just remember the sweetest older man. He had white wavy hair and the most calm personality and just the most comforting smile. He knew exactly what mama wanted, she was always in the sale and discontinued papers. We spent alot of time there. Then they moved on the hill. Dero's is the best place. I'm going to see the new store, can't wait, wallpaper is back.

Cute store. Wallpaper is in the back. They have a good assortment but there is a lot of the same kind of local look. The staff- one lady had no clue what to show me, not helpful at all. The other lady was helping a man and just listening to what she said I could tell she was on point. She knows what wallpaper they have and where to find a specific style. You can sit and look through the books there. No bathroom that they will let you use so that will hamper your perusing as you have to walk all the way down the sidewalk to a restaurant to use theirs. I drove a ways to see the wallpaper as previously I had gone to Allen Funk's in Raleigh. Honestly, I will go back to Funk's.

I have been going to Dero's for years. It is one of the last places to get custom draperies, pillows, etc. They offer all range of prices for all manner of projects. I always rely on Patricia's experience. She has been in the business for a long time, is very detail-oriented, and keeps me from making mistakes I might not be thinking about. Her experience is priceless.

I am from Columbia,S C and visit relatives in Clemmons NC often. Always try to visit this shop because it has pretty, quality merchandise and unusual gift items. Always find personnel friendly and helpful. Nice experience.
