“HI LAGOOGLERS!!! State employee's credit union is an amazing bank. Yes they are still a bank and banks make money but the Definitely help their members. They have some top tier life elevating services and I DO NOT recommend messing things up with this financial institution. This particularly SECU was really clean and inviting. The atmosphere was a total vibe!! Thee best kind especially around the holidays. Its always a plus too walk into a bank that has a good vibe especially when they are housing your funds. Also i be annoyed as all hell walking through those doors on bill pay days ?? but anywayzzzz the employees here are so amazing even when they are short staffed they provide great A customer service. ? meka and cj are always welcoming with warm helpful smiles. ? that trained with willy wonka nem at the chocolate factory too with the chic fil a workers. ?the establishment was also well decorated for the holidays. They have some rules and guide lines that they have to follow to help the customer if you don't meet those requirements like any other bank definitely they can't help you.”
“I belong to Delta Community Credit Union (an airlines union based in Georgia) yet THIS is the bank that I go to in order to make money deposits (or the rare case of withdrawals). They always make my transactions occur successfully and swift with no stress.”
“I set up my palm scan at a branch and then it didn't work at another branch's ATM. Today the ATM here wouldn't let me make a deposit. It let me go though all the steps but then it showed this message on the screen: "We're sorry, teller review for your transaction is unavailable at this time. Please visit during our business hours for teller assistance." Well, this was today, Tuesday, November 30th at 12:19 PM so it was well within their "business hours." There should be no reason for "teller review," and we are supposed to be able to use the ATMs 24/7 anyway so WTH?!? So annoying. I had to get back in one of the three open lines and make my deposit that way. Ridiculous.”
“This is so much better than my Suntrust/Truist experiences. I find Allegacy's customer service and business model/practices to be far superior to Truist. However, I do think that the phone situtation with this bank and others I have used needs to be vastly improved. The push to get everyone to do everything online is not always the best approach. Whether it is the lackings of the online system or something personal to the person calling in, sometimes phones are the most efficient way to solve an unusual issue. Treating people that call in as second class citizens by making them hold and putting through a gauntlet of phone prompts can be infuriating. I love online banking capabilitites but phones still have an important spot in the customer service process.”
