Taylor was absolutely AMAZING, from the time I walked in to the time I left it felt very welcoming and homey. This was my very first time deciding to do lash extensions and I couldn't have chosen a better place, she took the time to explain the steps and what each style was to help me figure out the style I wanted. Disclaimer: Morgan is the only hairstylist I will let touch my hair! I drive 45 minutes from Goldsboro for her!With that, Morgan and Dawn are the most amazing artists!! They made me look and feel like a fairytale bride on my wedding day! I also had 8 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, and my mom who needed their hair and/or their makeup done. These ladies came in and worked so hard to make each and every one of them feel as beautiful as I did! They also were so laid back and moved from lady to lady swiftly and calmly! They are one of the main reasons I was so relaxed on my wedding day!! I appreciate them driving all the way to New Bern for my special day and making it such a relaxed and fun morning!! Morgan even ran down to where the groom was because I asked her if she'd be willing to style his new hairstyle for him!! If I was to do it all over again, I would not change a thing about the hair and makeup! They're phenomenal!!! 10/10 would recommend them for any special event or haircut!!

This was my 5 year old's first salon experience, and Mandy did not disappoint! My little girl's hair is so adorable, she loves it, and feels like a big girl. We've gotten tons of compliments. Highly recommend this place!

I had the greatest experience ever. Very inviting and welcoming. I got my eyebrows waxed and she made sure they were perfect. Plus the conversation was perfect. It’s like family and that’s exactly what iv been wanting for so long I will be back for all the things. Plus the cutest atmosphere is just a bonus on top of the perfect cake.

So, I rarely write reviews bad or good. But today I was so impressed with the way my hair turned out. I have blonde hair with dark brown roots. I recently moved to north carolina and very leary about trying someone new. Past experiences have taught me not to. Morgan is amazing! Morgan always gets the job done. I’ve worked alongside her doing bridal services and I’ve also been a client of hers. She is talented and a joy to be around. Makes the appointment fly with casual conversation. Great location and awesome decor. I have loved my hair each time and she does great work!

Morgan at My Girlfriend’s Place is a color queen! Not only has she made my blonde the best it’s looked in years, but she also genuinely CARES about how she colors your hair. If it’ll damage your hair, she will respectfully let you know and kindly suggest something that not only looks good, but will ensure healthy locks in your future.
