They do not service their pumps frequently enough or they have issues with their tanks. The pumps move incredibly slow - a gallon every 45 seconds or so. This is a symptom of a clogged fuel filter. Once these filters reach this point, they're also allowing trash through the filter media - which ends up in your tank.DO NOT FUEL HERE.

Place is terrible. Every time I get gas the pumps are out of paper. People working there are oblivious. I live across the street but I’ll drive a little for gas from now on.

Don’t normally post negative reviews except the one day I needed this store to be opened on-time. As I type this, it’s 6:12am and they still aren’t opened. People rely on gas and morning caffeine to get their day started. I guess you should not rely on Han-Dee Hugo’s.Here a hint…. Buy a watch. Set an alarm. Be responsible.

I frequent this gas station often. Its usually pretty busy, lots of hustle and bustle.They have several pumps, easy access from the road and the food lion parking lot next to it. There is a subway attached in case your hungry for some fast food.Its always well lit and very clean inside as well as the parking lot.My only complaint, which is super minor, is that its always out of receipt tape so I have to go inside to get it. The reason I pay at the pump is to avoid the inside, other than that, I would've given 5 stars.

Are your employees aloud to smoke when they are out working near the gas pumps? I do not believe this is safe for anyone. It is very disheartening to see this when I am putting gas in my vehicle, and my children are sitting in the car. I worry for second hand smoke, let alone the gas station blowing up when she drops her ashes. It's a female employee (zoom in on pic of cig in her hand) that was working at 1:30pm on July 5, 2019 at 11928 US-70 Bus, Clayton NC 27520.

Terrible service at the Grandy location. Went in to buy a few beers and the woman working on 04/13/2019 around 9:45 PM refused to sell any beer and threatened to call the sheriffs office. Nobody that went into the store had drank more than two beers. We wanted to buy some beer to take home and enjoy later in the night but this person working was one of the most hateful rude person I have ever encountered in my life. I will never ever purchase anything at any hugos ever. I live in Elizabeth City NC which I frequent on a regular basis but after this experience I will never ever purchase from a handy hugos again.

Stopped at the location in Selma craving a frozen beverage. I was told they don't have cups for the size I wanted. And then for the size they had no lids. I wish they had ICEE instead.
