The dollar general located on hwy 70 in clayton is horrible. The store is always a mess. The app states that they have the products in stock but the shelves are always empty. If you ask about a product that's suppose to be in stock they just tell you sorry it must still be in the back. They won't go get anything for you. Most of the time I will drive the extra 15 to 20 mins to the one on 210. That store is actually kept up with and the employees are more friendly.

Staff is absolutely troopers. No AC for weeks and I've been going to another store because as a customer your prices are not great enough for me to pass out at 95 degrees with no air movement. It's been this way for weeks!!! They do rent AC units to provide comfort for customers and staff!

Doors were locked and drawer was closed before 8:55 PM on a Thursday. May want to adjust hours or get better management

You may want to edit the open to close hours, you definitely don't open at 8.

Most of the people in here are kind. However this one lady had a bad attitude. I have a disability. This women had 0 respect trying to explain how to check out. She even turned the pad to her. She was getting frustrated. I was too. Her unkind attitude caused me a panic attack. Too bad I didn't see her name. She had braids and wore glasses

This dollar general never stocked up on the items I need. The employees aren't friendly at all. I'd rather drive further to another dollar general or just go to Walmart so I can check out my own items & not deal with rude employees.

Great prices but you need to remind your employees to say please when the ask a customer for help when checking out. I understand this is a tough, thankless job but the word please and thank you goes a long way.

I have never had such bad service in a place of business! The service here was unprofessional and very rude!! Customer Service here is awful. The cashiers / employees are not nice. They answer questions in such a unprofessional matter .. that they have lost me and my family as customers.
