Loved my stay at Broad River Inn, the host were great. Clean room and bathroom, restaurant on site is convenient and good menu. Free mini golf with stay is a plus, the scenery around the B&B is spectacular, Broad River, Chimney Rock, Hickory Nut Gorge Falls, Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. Only wish there was a small menu for the free breakfast.

This was a very warm and cozy lodge! From the first entrance into the lobby , which is right next to the saloon pizzeria Stagecoach. Rooms were very tastefully done with a very homey feel. Great location with amazing views all around. Highly recommend stopping by this sleepy town an stay at The Board River Inn.

Lovely stay in the Broad River Inn during the offseason. Passing through North Carolina and visited the quaint town of chimney rock village and had the best accommodations at this Inn. All staff were friendly, the room was spotless, the river view and private balcony romantic, and the breakfast and vibes in the morning are hard to recreate. Highly recommend this inn. Bonus complimentary mini golf for guests.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a bit, so I searched and found the Broad River Inn. We stayed four nights and had a great time. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The hosts, Kristen and Nick couldn't have been nicer. Food was good and service great. We look forward to staying there again.Blair and

Friendly inn owners really make you feel at home. 100 on their sanitation grade. Exceptional cleanliness. Very comfortable pillows and bed. Morning breakfast always fresh and delicious ? too die for shower. Fresh cookies and chocolate awaited us in our room.Rooms: Large clean beautiful private porch over the riverWalkability: Feet from all the shops and restaurants in chimney rockFood & drinks: Nice bar good food and reasonable pricesNoteworthy details: Even though you are right on the main road nothing but the roar of the river can be heard at night. Just an all around beautiful weekend.

The hotel was in a perfect location. It was our first trip to Chimney Rock and it reminds me of Gatlinburg 50 years ago. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed twice now and loved both times. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed the King room with the jacuzzi tub and porch. The river outside was wonderful and the tub was incredibly relaxing. They also added some romantic touches since we visited for a little valentines getaway including rose petals on the bed and a couple chocolate covered strawberries.Breakfast in the morning was also top notch on both trips. The perfect portion size to get us going and they accommodate dietary restrictions very well. Also loved that they were close to Chimney rock park and Chimney rock village. Very walkable to the other stores and restaurants and a short drive up the hill to the state park.

Despite having to check in late due to late arrival, they were still very welcoming and showed me right to the room. My experience here was amazing, and the whole place has a super comforting and relaxing environment. Considering we were here for Valentine’s day, the staff left two chocolate covered strawberries on a plate. It definitely set the mood! The staff will make sure that you have everything thing you need, and does an excellent job keeping the facilities clean. The sanitation rating is an 100! Love this place, definitely coming back!Rooms: Assuming the time of the year you stay, it’s themed and it sets the mood for whoever you may be staying with.Nearby activities: Plenty of mountain activities—gem excavating, shopping, cafe’s and grocery stores, just a small hole in the wall town with some very kind people!Walkability: Everything is basically on a strip, there’s a town full of niche shops, gem excavating, nice restaurants to eat at, and so much more.Food & drinks: They have a cute restaurant underneath the place you stay at! They had live music 6pm - 9pm and the people that sing and play their instruments are usually very good.

The location, staff and breakfast were perfect. The Stagecoach Bar was fun, friendly, well-stocked and competitively priced. Our friends room, facing the road was a bit noisy and small. Our room facing the river was far superior. But the entire place is shopworn and needs work.It is so tough to run a small inn and this place needs a quarter of a million in work so I strongly hope people can overlook the problems for now and help the new owners to have the finances to upgrade this old lady. Will be back when I do my next sales trip to Asheville and hope to see that the needed work is getting addressed.Rooms: Shopworn but clean. Bathrooms need gutting and temperature control of the shower water is a challenge.Nearby activities: Easy access to Chimney Rock and everything the town has to offer. Kind of like beach towns, crummy tourist trap shops and restaurants with a few gems hidden here and there.Walkability: Walkable but sidewalks are janketty and traffic can be dangerousNoteworthy details: Stay on the river side of the hotel if at all possible. River view rooms are on top of the mini golf but the sound of the river drowns out the noise. Rooms on the other side face the road and you're right on top of the road, so noisy in the day but quiet at night.

I honestly couldn’t pick my favorite part of our stay. The staff were so welcoming and kind. The bedroom, bathroom, porch, and the river views were stunning. Mini golf was included at no additional cost. The breakfasts were delicious (get the chocolate cake at the restaurant later in the day). The location was perfect at the very edge of the charming downtown. We’ll definitely be back.Rooms: Beautiful, clean, and comfortableWalkability: Right at the end of downtown, perfect locationFood & drinks: Delicious
