I have been going to Yogi for 7 years to attend the Fireside Community PowWow and always loved going, I always find it peaceful and serene. I wanted to share that with my family so we just spent a weekend there in October. They loved it, there were lots of activities for my grandchildren and also activities that the entire family enjoyed. The staff was amazing and very helpful, we rented 4 cabins and have our reservations for next year, the only difference is we are staying longer. My family and I love Yogi!!!

If I could give them a 10/10 I WOULD! Story time….. flashback to maybe 2003-2004… way before social media catapulted into what it is today! I was around 11-12 and I lost my mom’s Native American turquoise ring in their recreational pool. We (my entire family) were camping there for the week! And the pool was the place to be! lol, ended up loosing my moms ring in the pool by accident! Was afraid to tell her so I never did! We drive back home to eastern, nc. Like 7-8hr drive away…… I get the idea to email Yogi in The Smokies…..(computer was in my room back then) they ended up responding. I asked If they had seen my moms ring in the pool drains… and if so could they send it back to me….. guess what???? They FOUND IT, and even shipped it back for free! After I told my mom this story, she almost didn’t believe me. Thank God for email receipts. And thank you YOGI IN THE SMOKIES!!!!!!! Can’t wait to take my kids here one day!!!! Best place around!!!!

I went on a camping trip with the family. The kids had a blast! WiFi worked good enough to make FaceTime calls. There were plenty of activities from rock painting to playgrounds and even Yogi Hay rides. The pool was clean but could get crowded quickly. The biggest selling point is tubing and fishing. There are plenty of trout! Be aware it is on tribal lands and a day permit is $10. I purchased the 3 day for $27. Well worth it and it covers all kids under 16. The price for the campsite was very reasonable. We will be returning again!

We just had our first trip to Yogi in the Smokies and can’t say enough good things about it. We loved the creek side site, tubing down the length of the campground, activities for the kids, hayride, rock painting. The poolside party with Wild Bill was a great time. He was so fun and friendly to everyone there. We really hope he’s there on our next visit.
During our stay, we had a serious medical emergency with one of our children. The entire staff was amazing with their response and compassion. Harold is an absolute saint! While my wife and child were at the hospital 40 minutes away, Harold drove there at 11PM to bring them back since we didn’t have an extra vehicle to get them.
All the employees were genuinely concerned throughout the rest of our stay and constantly checked to make sure our son was better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will ABSOLUTELY be returning to Yogi in the Smokies in the future. A huge thank you to the staff.

The staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and extremely helpful. The park was a disappointment. We camped in a gravel pit. There was NO grass. The kids was unruly and had no supervision. The park allowed the kids to ride bikes well after dark with no lights. My disabled husband was almost hit twice. Excessive people were allowed on the campsites, even though the website rules states 6 people. I can honestly say this and last time camping at this campground.

Our family just came back from a weekend. Disappointment is an understatement. The first cabin we were in smelt horrible of mold and mildew. Plus spider webs everywhere you looked. The staff did move us into another cabin. The smell was a little more bearable, but dead bugs all in the cabin, mouse poop on the stove and counters. Mold on the wood behind the stove. Everything just felt so dirty. Staff just came up with one excuse after another. The owners need to do better and invest in some major upgrades. First and last time we will ever stay there.

I guess it's a fun place for people who like RV and camping. For me personally, there is not that much to do. I wish there was more staff for kids, so they could be busy, such as a splash zone or water slide or any kind of activities. The pool is ok, but the water is really cold. The only activities for kids are Hey Ride and the Rock Painting. May be we just got used to good service and expected more thsn we should get. Idk. We will not go there again. I added the video of Grey Wolf cabin 207, so you may see how it looks. Cabin is pretty comfortable and has a location where wifi works. So if you need a connection to the internet, get the cabin around 206-209.
