I've been coming to NC to visit friends and family and for the scenic view of the Moutian now for the past 8 years, sometimes there is not enough room at relatives house. So book a room here ahead of time. There's never any issues with reservations or cleanliness of rooms. Nutritions food options for breakfast. And staff is always respectful and helpful. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi is always clean everytime I visit and it is. Reasonable pricing and hospitality is what keeps me coming back!!! Thank you Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites!!Rooms: Clean and comfortable no critters.Nearby activities: CASINO ,CASINO, CASINO!!Safety: Cameras everywhere! They watching!!

Very clean. Loved the fact that the pool was open. The beds were very comfortable. Everything in the room worked. Loved the decor in the lobby. Employees were very friendly.

I would 100% recommend staying here! I was very impressed, they kept the rooms and the entire hotel spotless! All of the employees were so sweet and make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!Rooms: The rooms and bathrooms were so clean! I have never been so impressed with the cleanliness of a hotel.Food & drinks: They had a great variety of breakfast foods, and it all was clean and fresh!

For the price it wasn't too bad. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. Unfortunately several things were in disrepair: hot tub, tub, elevators.

A not so merry Christmas vacation.I stayed at this inn with my family at the beginning of December for an early Christmas getaway. It ended up being the place I wanted to get away from. We had lights in the bathroom blow out, asked for help and were told by the manager that they did not know where maintenance was. Without asking what we wanted, were moved to a different room, we moved everything to the new room only to find a full grown cockroach in there. We went to the front desk for help and were immediately reassigned again without being asked what we wanted. We checked out the new room to find the lights didn't work and the curtain didn't actually cover the window. We were then taken on a grand tour of the inn where we found a number of unsuitable rooms with issues mainly related to lighting and windows. I asked to just go back to our original room and just use flashlights in the bathroom.However, upon coming back to that room, I found the toilet had overflowed while we were away. How did I discover this? By stepping right into the toilet water all over the bathroom floor. We were then reassigned to a room with only one bed as all the rooms with double beds weren't suitable. We all squished in the bed for an uncomfortable night that we just wanted to make it through and leave. If you're counting, that's a total of 5 room assignments in one day. I was told by the manager that only the general manager can issue refunds and she wouldn't be in until the next day. I was told they would contact me. This was about two weeks ago and I haven't even received a follow up email. I cannot give this hotel a low enough review. Save yourself the hassel and stay somewhere else.

Despite some negative reviews, we found the hotel clean, quiet, bed bug free! Heather at the front desk was very helpful! The pool and hot tub were great...very comfortable temperatures. The beds were comfortable. The new elevator is ready to be installed. Very convenient location. The breakfast was a bit lacking. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

The sheets was nasty had stains on them and then they said that was why they charged 200 to our card. But the room had no microwave or iron or ironing board. On the second floor the air didn't work very well. And we got eat up by bugs. There was roaches. The outside was not kept up. They have they same person checking you in cleaning rooms. And the breakfast is disappointing bc the hot breakfast is toast or bagels. The card doesn't work on any doors other than your room so they told us to prop the door open. They was the only place to stay on short notice but if I had to stay there I would just drive on home. When they told us it was on the back side of the building it was totally different than the front. It has not been mowed or weedeated. It didn't have a good view it was of all the weeds that was overgrown.Safety: By them telling us to prop the door open that is really a safety hazard.

Loved this hotel the room was nice and clean and the lady named Ruth that checked was in was awesome she was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed I would definitely stay at thus hotel

We really wanted to like this place. We were excited to go there, and the location is hard to beat, but there were a couple of things that we didn’t like:1. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast, unless hot breakfast means you can toast bread. There was no waffle maker, although it was advertised on the web that weekends the breakfast is more elaborate. There were no eggs, bacon, or anything that would normally qualify as part of a hot breakfast.2. The hotel has a lot of rules. There are signs everywhere indicating what one is expected to do or not to do. It seemed like a place that caters more to elementary school students, than anyone else.I really think that with better management and more quality control, this could be an excellent place to stay.

Rooms were dark and smelled funny. Elevator wad broken and they have 3 floors. The free breakfast was only 8-10. Milk in fridge was spoiled.I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Indoor pool & hot tub area clean free from trash floating in both . (Main door to enter enclosed pool & hot tub was broken in half at top of door . Enter thru sliding glass doors) The one and only elevator Had 3 pieces of CLEAR DUCK TUBE HOLDING MAIN PANEL TOGATHER AND NO ELEVATOR PERMIT SHOWING OR LAST TIME IT WAS INSPECTIONED ! 2ND FLOOR pespi machine is 0.75 a for canned pespi products. That made stay ! Rooms appeared cleaned , no breakfast during week . Friendly Staff !!

Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites is very nice. Rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful. We had the King Suite. Beds are very comfortable. It was also nice to have separate areas within the room to relax. Pool and hot tub area is located directly at the front desk and lobby area.
