This is a fantastic wine shop! I happened upon it after getting my nails done next door and I honestly thought oh boy this is going to be expensive. The exact opposite -my wine loving friends! First of all they are super friendly and helpful. They ask you what you like and offer suggestions and tastes which is pretty standard for a wine shop but here’s the difference-they recommend excellent bottles at 7.99 and 12.99. Like incredible wine! Here I am the dope that’s been schooled to believe an expensive bottle is the only way to go especially for a gift. Not true.
I will never buy another cruddy bottle of 22 wine from the local grocery (we see you Kim Crawford) when we can have amazing flavor at half the price. And they package it nicely and wrap if it’s a gift. Do yourself a favor and go to the Wine Store!

I live in West Michigan but frequent Charlotte (South Park) for business. We have some wonderful stores here up north but the experience of winestore. is extraordinary! The ability to taste on the carousel, the unpretentious wine descriptions, and always helpful staff, have caused me to show up on work trips with room to pack bottles home! I have 4 favorite finds here, that I cannot find at home, which rival favs of 4x the price point. Wonderful find, great staff. Just wish you shipped to MI! I'll continue to be a customer as long as I'm in town!

If you like wine or champagne, visit this place and keep coming back. Great service! They'll special order for you and they promise the cheapest prices in North Carolina. Lots of wines to sample each week.

Winestore really goes above and beyond! I wandered in one day looking for Orange wine. Although they don't carry any in store, the friendly staff took down my info and later emailed me a great list of options, including pricing and helpful descriptions, for me to pick from. There's no obligation to order a certain amount, so I picked out 3 bottles that sounded good, and after providing my payment info, they ordered them to the store for me to pick up. Super convenient, and a great way to get to try different, harder-to-find wines!Browsing the bottles in-store is also a pleasant experience, with the wines organized by type on easy-to-see shelves with labels that let you know what to expect in terms of flavor & feel. We picked up a red blend, which was on sale for a great price, and I look forward to returning for more!
