Just had the best pharmacy experience here I’ve ever had. Typically it’s not terrible but it’s definitely not great. Rarely get a greeting or smile. Which is fine, the world right now sucks I struggle to be positive and give my customers a good experience and I’m not a pharmacist. Today I pulled into the drive through. There was no one in front of me. I press the button. Expect to wait 5 or so mins before someone says “what’s the name”. I was pleasantly surprised someone came over actually greeted me, got my name and told me they were checking an inside person out and then would grab my order. Being acknowledged, knowing they see you and an update seems simple but in my years of coming here it’s. Not. She was polite, actually friendly and fantastic. In no way would I say anyone else I’ve encountered is rude or horrible. But her friendliness was a very nice surprise. I asked her name. Forgive me if I’m spelling it wrong. Amara. She deserves acknowledgement for great customer service

I used to work for Walgreens and I was never that disrespectful, the cashier was rude and didn’t even hand me my bag . The night manager was rude and didn’t even try to help me get my rewards. This is not the same company I used to work for and I’m glad I’m no longer employed by them. If I could give a half a star I would they are just disgusting honestly and the manager should be spoken to for her nasty attitude towards her customers ( older lady mini fro grey hair)

Extremely slow service and not very friendly employees. Waited 5 minutes at front counter for them to go to the pharmacy and wait ten minutes without being greeted. The store was very clean and set up well but not a good customer experience.

I called Walgreens to confirm my appointment for the flu vaccine. I talked to May at the pharmacy and she could not find the appointment. She was friendly, professional and very patient. She took the time to make me another appointment. I appreciate her assistance and time. Thank you, May.

Customer service is poor with evening staff . Visited location around 8pm on a Thursday to make a purchase. No one was at the front register so I took items to the pharmacy register where 2 employees was berating a customer at drive thru that she could not get her prescription unless it was renewed. I waited few minutes til 1 of them would notice I was at register but they didn't pay me any attention as they conversed about window incident. I finally said excuse me can I pay for this here. The lady said sure and began to ring up items. I tried to pay with cash , a $100 bill . She said she didn't have change . I said well I will use my card . She ask the next lady if she can which leads me to believe she was new or training. The next lady said no cause its a procedure to cancel , she instructed the new girl to just call for change in pharmacy which she did . 3mins later no 1 came with change . So now im getting low on patience. I now ask for my $100 bill back i didn't want the items. The new girl said she can't give me my money back cause there is a procedure. I was puzzled how you can't open draw to return a customer their money . She asked an Asian lady which I didnt see earlier if she can return my money. The Asian lady said no I have to wait cause now its paperwork to offer a refund. Now im upset and im telling them how do you hold a customer hostage cause you got my money , I cant use the card, you don't have change, I don't have your product and you can't give me my money back cause you have to offer a refund which is a procedure. At this time a black lady from the front came to see what was wrong. The new girl now was telling the other 2 can I please just give him his money back . Now im loud . GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK NOW. Its only at that point that the again lady said ok give him his money to the new girl. Why should customers be subject to such poor service which can escalate into a worse situation

Order a pick up and my bag missing the main items I ordered. They simply said bring back for a refund. I am so mad wasting my time to order and come to this store.No appology, they act like that normal not value customer time at all. I ll stay away from. Walgreens from now.

I went to check on a formula for my little one. Forget about greeting , no one even bothered to ask if I am looking for anything ? Most rude & unprofessional staff.

Excruciatingly slow service. Cashier did not offer to help my disabled father with the large item he was forced to carry across the store with his teeth (!). Only reason this place is getting more than one star is that I was eventually able to get most of what I needed here.

Formerly a Rite Aid, this Walgreens is on the southeast corner of Arrowood and South Tryon. As Walgreens go, the interior is clean, tidy and well stocked. The usual candy, drinks, personal care, cosmetics and over-the-counter medications plus a full service pharmacy with a drive through. I've never had a problem here - it's my go to for some stuff if I don't want the hassle of the nearby awful (but cheaper) Walmart. The landscaping here is a bit too tall - the exit on to South Tryon is a blind corner and some folks take it a bit too wide so be careful. This is my 1500th review in the City of Charlotte!
