The staff was very pleasant and understanding when we were a few minutes late, they answered all my questions and even helped me with a pair of older glasses before I purchased my new ones!

This is regarding Visionwork at Arboretum location (3419 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226). Very bad experience. There was a lady representative when we went there on 12/30/23. She welcomed us with a phrase:"Do you have prescription? If you have no prescription then you can't buy". We have VSP and it clearly says we have frames covered and no need of prescription. And top of that very rude tone, no smile. I would not recommend to get you in her hand or avoid this location if she is there.

April at the Arboretum Visionworks store was a delight to work with. She was very helpful with my order and made sure my end of year insurance benefits were utilized. What a wonderful experience especially during this busy time of the year!

The salesperson was incredibly rude to both me and the customer in front of me. When we arrived, there were two customers already there. We understood there was a need to wait (as she emphasized multiple times that she couldn’t help us until it was our turn), but had brief questions to understand if we would be able to do what we needed there. My daughter’s glasses had broken and I was trying to determine if it was worth waiting (as if they couldn’t fix them, it wouldn’t be worth waiting). She said she wouldn’t be able to tell us anything until it was our turn, though each of our questions would have taken 30 seconds to answer and then we would have happily waited. She led with attitude from the get-go, and seemed entirely disinterested in helping or providing a positive customer experience. Save yourself the rude and uncomfortable experience and go elsewhere.

When we got they're the salesman sitting at the work station closest to the door look like he was lounging in his living room wishing he could be anywhere else. He didn't even greet us as we walked in the door. Had the other salesman not been so friendly we would have left. However, I should have paid better attention to the store hours. 10-6 on weekdays doesn't work well w/ my schedule. So, we tried to pick up the glasses on a Sunday before 4 and the place was locked up tight despite the hours on the website saying they are open until 4 on Sundays. Even though the Matthews store is not my favorite I should have stuck with that location. At least they're open when they say they will be.
