Why so rude and hostile?! All I want to do is mail a package. Also can this location decide on their hours open to the public.
More than once I have driven there during posted hours of operation, only to be met by a locked door and no one working in sight.

I had a certified letter attempted delivery while I was on vacation 7/25/24. I change the delivery to pick up for 7/29/24 since I had to sign for it and I figured I wouldn't be home if they attempted another delivery. I go to the location and they tell me the mailman has it and is attempting to delivery. So, why was I given the option for pick up, I change it to pick up, but ya'll chose to ignore that and to tell me it's being delivered...fine. I wait and wait and wait and my letter still has not arrived. I call the number I was provided by the front desk clerk and no one answers the phone. She said I needed to speak with a Melinda to get everything situated, but I can't reach them. I call the customer service number and they are no help since they are not at the actual location. Going 2 weeks without my letter and no one knows where it is! It's hard to go to any USPS location because their hours are hours most people work. Even if I go during lunch, they move so slow by the time it's my turn I need to leave and head back to work and who is calling off work just to make a post office run. It's just one inconvenience after another.

I’ve seen a lot of the reviews here but decided to go in away… if anything for the hilariously ridiculous customer service experience. However, the woman at the front desk was pretty nice and helpful. She handled multiple customers with ease and good communication. She was a light skinned black woman upper 20s low 30s maybe, for recognition purposes. They must have made some good changes here.

I saw the reviews but decided to go here anyway because it's close. Yeah, won't be making that mistake again. Waited for over 5 minutes ringing the bell and yelling for help. They were literally on the other side of the wall; could hear them talking. One of them finally came out and was just incredibly rude.

I have had numerous issues with this post office and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they consistently do not meet expectations. Their hours are listed as 8-5 and I tried dropping off a package at 8:15 but was met with a locked door and nobody around. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to actually have my services completed.

Employees clearly don’t want to be there and are very rude. You are working in customer service and with the public, even if you don’t like your job you don’t have to be a horrible rude person.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Basically ignored me and acted like I was annoying them just by asking to pick up. App said it was ready for pick up and they insisted it would be delivered. Man, USPS is NOT it.

The reviews don’t lie. This is by far the worst post office in SW Charlotte. Very very rude staff. Definitely the older light skin lady. Lacks professionalism and isnt eager to help. There’s rarely anyone ever at the front desk. Pretty horrible to be the airport post office. Hope the branch managers read these reviews and decides to hire new staff. If she doesn’t want to work, get her out of there.

Horribly rude staff. i asked for a piece of tape and was rudely told i need to buy an entire roll. aren’t you the post office? a federal service? Why am I buying tape for a service I pay taxes on. just horrible people every time i go.

This is the worse USPS that I have ever been in. I rang the bell several times and no one comes to the counter. And when they do, they are not friendly. The only time was when there was a lady blocking the door asking you to give a review and would watch you to make sure it was a “good one”. The one and only time anyone was nice! Avoid it if at all possible!
