Today is Wednesday, July 24th. We have been without mail service since Saturday, July 20th, 2024 in Zip Code 28205-0311. No explanation from the USPS and no returned emails or phone calls. So frustrating in the fact that our tax dollars pay for our mail service and we get the worst customer service and support from our local carriers.
We have lived here for two years and have had at least 10 differ ent carriers.

Great post office, usually open even at 5. But last Friday & Saturday no employees were present to accept packages. Does anyone know if we can drop off packages again yet?

It' was closed on Saturday 07/20/2024, at least put out a notice on the website, so we don't waste our gas and time!

This is the best post office hands down in the area. The ladies here are the best and this is the cleanest and most well maintained office in Charlotte . The custodian does a good job and so do the clerks.

Post office refused to take my package - it was a return for a store that I received a prepaid shipping label for. I have shipped prepaid labels a million times for returns and items I have sold and this has never happened. Wouldn’t take the package because it was dated for the day before … the day the label was generated and emailed to me. She said if she took the package it would “look like it sat here overnight”. Very strange and random rule I have never heard of. Neither did the small business when I had to email them about the trouble I had.

I went into this location today to pickup a package that I was told by USPS customer service was ready to be picked up. When I arrived I was “greeted” by Sabrina who didn’t even look up from her phone to say “how may I help you”. I kindly told her I had been told by customer service that my package was available for pickup at this location. She looked at me like I had 3 heads and shrugged. I shrugged right back at her and asked what information she needed from me to help with the situation. She walked to the back, told me there was nothing here and to try again tomorrow. Ms. Sabrina honey, I don’t know if you were having a rough morning, or just really hate your job (I’m sure it’s difficult to sit on your phone all day), but this location realllllly needs some assistance with customer service. Good luck to anyone that does business here. She had cool glasses though.

The lady working was the ONLY one there after a holiday (labor day) and was so nice and speedy. She had short curly hair but I didn’t get her name. There were a ton of people in line and she did such a great job and handled everything quickly and kept a positive attitude. Only negative thing to say is I’m not sure how she could get a break with all those people and no one else working with her.
