My husband and I were in Charlotte for a NASCAR race and a concert. We enjoyed our stay at UNC Charlotte Marriot Hotel very much. The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. I would recommend to others and stay there again if I return to Charlotte.

Beautiful city and campus here with lots to do. The visit was filled with heart and excellence! This University was a gracious host to my daughter and our family. We can't wait to return. Thank you UNC Charlotte WB for allowing us to be a part of your family during our time here. Go Niner Nation!❤Rooms: The rooms were beautiful, quiet, and clean. The bathroom was especially nice.Nearby activities: The university campus has many places to eat and things to do close by. Including its own movie theater!Safety: We felt very safe during our time here. Love that the campus has most things inclusive. Security was in sight!Walkability: A very walkable campus with scooters and bikes available. Marriot's valet parking was also great!Food & drinks: Places to eat in the area were great with some nice views. The hotel had good service and food too!Noteworthy details: Charlotte is a beautiful city that is easy to embrace! The VIP bowling was fun!

Awesome hotel with great amenities and customer service. The M Club is a must and enjoyed a very great meal/drinks at the restaurant on the property. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing stay! Incredible job by the front desk making me feel welcome; Stephanie and Marreleey even helped me sew and fix my broken tie (without me even asking). Will come back in the future for sure!

There was a coffee spill on the floor the whole time I was there and I told no less than four people about it, but no one ever came to clean it, after each one assuring me they would send someone. Other than that the room was very clean.The weather was still in the 80s when I was there at the end of September, and it was very disappointing that the pool was not heated.Good location for the university, with a train right out front to take you into the city.

This was my first stay at the UNCC Marriott. Excellent location to attend a UNCC event. Short walking distance to the stadium. Our rooms were first class and very clean. The location to park and unload your luggage was on the ground level. Front desk check in is on the second floor. I was surprised they didn’t have a person offering to bring your luggage up to the 2nd floor check in. Valet was on the spot and very attentive. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was above my expectations. Service was a bit slow including getting your food.On the bright side, I would highly recommend staying at that location. I rate it first class even with a few minor issues. Great job front desk! Most cordial people I’ve ever met at a busy hotel. Thank you!Rooms: Very surprised how nice the room was. Mattresses very comfortable. Clean and good amenities.Walkability: Very close and an easy walk to UNCC stadium.

It's a beautiful place. However, your employees can use indepth custom relations training. They weren't approachable and didn't seem to want to be bothered. They didn't small much at all. This goes for your front desk reception area, your bartenders, and the kitchen attendees. The valet team was on point. With the in flow of people, your valet team kept it professional, and they smiled. I said good morning to the custodians on the 4th floor. They just looked and didn't respond. The wait time in the restaurant is too long. We weren't greeted immediately, and once we were again, the bartenders didn't appear to want to be bothered. Customer relations can destroy companies. Fix it immediately. The cost is too high for your team to have such unapproachable attitudes.

TUMI WAS THE BEST ❤️????? She was so nice and understanding and helped me with a personal hotel request due to my travel schedule … she worked her magic ! Thanks TUMI! The hotel was very pretty with a great workout gym. They have Starbucks drinks on site woohoo… beautiful outside pool and great restaurant ! Very comfy rooms . Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great stay! We got to check in a little earlier than expected thanks to the wonderful front desk staff. We also went to the bar and had a great time, and awesome service by Q, I believe - not sure if that’s how you spell it but she was great. The rooms were clean, and valet was fast and attentive.

Wonderful hotel and staff! The week-long stay could not have been any better, very well-operated elegant property, great location, and excellent customer service. Lakesha and Tumi at the front desk were phenomenal the entire week and were really high-speed in answering any questions and resolving issues! Jamil, Harrison, Khaled, Zach, Matt and the rest of the valet parking staff were also superb and were laser-focused on taking care of their customers!Thank you UNCC Marriott team for a tremendous stay!

Wonderful hotel , I was a guest here in June 2023 for a religious convention for my church. The room was spacious and front desk staff was very pleasant. My family and I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, it was fantastic. The convention dinner service was also very nice. I enjoy the location of the hotel and it's convenient to shops and restaurants.

Really enjoyed this new location. The food was delicious, the bartender was friendly, and plenty of areas to walk around and enjoy shopping or nature in University City. The only improvement I would suggest is ensuring that Ubers and/or other ground transportation is better coordinated for those who have on campus or airport travel.

I have stayed at this hotel, a number of times while in town on business and have always had a good experience at the hotel. Today I had some exceptional service from Tumi as I checked in and she was able to help upgrade my room and accommodate a request. Thank you so much for your hospitality and I will definitely stay here again.

We were there to watch a college football game. With the Marriott being on the campus, it couldn't have been easier and more enjoyable. No traffic to fight. Come down to the game when it was time. If you're in town for an event at UNCC, stay here!Rooms: The rooms were very comfortable and very little noise.Nearby activities: If you need to go out, there's a huge shopping center about 1/4 mile away with loads of restaurants.Walkability: To do anything on campus, walking to it was SO easy.

This hotel was very nice. The rooms were very contemporary. The food tasted great. What I've noticed is the cleaning person doesn't come everyday to clean your room even though there's no sign that says "do not disturb". Also the hallway can be noisy at night. The receptionist can be a little friendlier. I've seen customers talking loudly at the receptionist. Besides the clean upgraded rooms, the overall user experience can be found with other hotel chain if you research a little bit more.
