HORRIBLE WORK, ULTA HAIR SALON, WAVERLY, CHARLOTTE. When I visit a salon I have my hair roots touched up, blond hair cut in layers and blown dry. In my first and only visit to Ulta Beauty in Waverley, after having just moved to Charlotte, the root touch up was done totally wrong, in a very dark brown tone, which I pointed out, at the start, looked way too dark, but hairdresser insisted on completing it nonetheless, resulting in a pronounced 2 layer tonality— ugly inch of dark brown hair at scalp, attached to blond hair. Haircut was not good quality either. When I called store manager the next day to complain I was told I could have it repaired by Sam, the male hairdresser there, who, when I called for an appointment, would only give me a Friday evening appointment.

I NEVERRR leave reviews!! , but KAITLYN at store #1219 was absolutely amazing. She approached me offering her assistance. She took her time educating me on different skin care products, & was honest about the benefits of various brands. I trusted Kaitlyn’s expertise so much I allowed her to shop for me, lol. She was patient, kind, and also looked out for the best interest of my skin type. Thank you Kaitlyn .. I’ll be back because of YOU!

I am a regular visitor at Ulta stores as i feel i can get everything under one roof with some amazing offers.My visit to Waverly ulta store was my first one. As soon as I enter..I felt I was treated differently because of my skin tone and I was straightaway told to check out cheap products on other side of the aisle. I wish they could learn how to be polite and treat all your customers equally.I AM NEVER VISITING ULTA waverly again. Huge disappointment.

I recently Got my hair cut at this salon and Asha H. Did my Signature Curly Cut and I am so happy with it. I was so skeptical going since I have curly hair and a lot of salons do not know how to work with curly hair. She did a transformation cut for me short style and it’s so healthy and so easy to manage now my hair was so shiny leaving the salon and bouncy. My curls were “Juicy” in every way possible. I will Most def be returning for this upkeep on this cut. She even had amazing products she used on my hair and i even Purchased everything she used. Thanks Asha never been more happy with A haircut. She even gave advice while doing my hair how what steps to do and take. So i even Got education while getting an amazing cut! She needs a raise ?

Sam is absolutely amazing! I will never go to another stylist again! And I hope he never leaves this location! 10/10 will be back here to get my hair done with Sam. After my appointment I decided to go ahead grab some items I needed. The associates were so helpful when I needed help. At the registered I applied for the Ulta card, it didn’t go through but they still gave me the free gift and 20% off that comes with it. Hair done AND new makeup/skincare for less than $300?! This has been the most successful self care day I’ve had in awhile, thanks to this store. Hands down best Ulta in Charlotte!!!

SAM is a Master Stylist at this Waverly salon. He is an excellent hair stylist with many years of experience. I have seen him several times, and I have always loved the way my hair turned out. I highly recommend Sam.

I really like this Ulta location! I drive the extra 10 minutes to come here instead of the Matthews location. They are friendly & helpful. Each time I visit, they seem happy to answer my questions & even give their own recommendations on products. 5 out of 5 stars.
