I was recently down there getting some birch 4'x8' sheets and Ray was so nice to help me out. While cutting the boards down may be part of their job, a lot of associates at other stores aren't always so eager to help. I really appreciate him helping me and I will definitely be back to this location even though there are several closer to my home. Thanks again Ray!!

Fairly new self check out equipment. Doesn't accept Apple Pay or any type of touch less pay. Additionally you can't use a stylus to select all of the options. And there isn't ANY hand sanitizer located at the register after your fingers have been all over the screen that everyone else touched. Yuck, given we're just coming out if quarantine. Total miss Home Depot.

While out running errands I popped into this Home Depot just to see if they had any house plants I didn't have. I picked up a few succulents, some cactus soil and a huge bag of perlite. I didn't realize it but the perlite had a slash on the bottom and had been taped up. I didn't realize til I was putting it in my car and didn't have time to return it at that moment. I will be returning it because who knows how much of the perlite is gone from the bag. Overall the store was nice and clean but the house plants were in odd locations and I had to search for them. The garden center at the Ballantyne Home Depot is like going to a botanical garden! There is a woman named Sheila that I see out watering and deadheading and moving plants and she and her team deserve a big "WELL DONE!" It is one of my favorite places to be in the spring!!!

Depends on when you go there. There may be people air not to help you. So far none were in trades so often you know more than they do.

I recently bought a house close to this Home Depot, so I'm here quite often. My last trip there, I had to pick up an item that required me to rent a van. I called before going to the store to ensure the cab was available. Jake answered the phone, I told him the item I was picking up and that I had to rent the van. I mentioned I had a tight time window to rent the van and pick up the item. When I got to Home Depot 10 mins later, Jake had already pulled the item so it was ready to go and he very quickly got all the paperwork done for the rental. Jake, thank you for your forward thinking and thoughtful customer service!

I was disappointed TWICE by recent attempts to rent a Penske van. The first time I made the request online several days in advance and they did not even have a van available at the Providence location. They suggested I go to a central location several miles away. Unfortunately, my whole point in choosing this location was that I could walk from my home and would not have to leave my car or have someone else come pick me up. So, I ordered the van for another date and picked it up and used it.The second time I reserved a van (again several days in advance) and that MORNING I expected to use it, found out that they didn't have one, but would let me use a 16ft (or 12ft) van instead. Well, I didn't want that because it was too big for my driveway and I didn't want to drive a huge truck. Anyway, I was irritated that NO ONE even bothered to tell me that they didn't have a van available until I expected to use it. I cancelled and at that time REFUSED to EVER do business with them again. It's just too easy to get a van from U-haul. And it costs half the price.I'd give them ZERO STARS if I could. Simply not going to ever use them again due to lazy service. They could have called or emailed me that they did not have my choice available. I ordered two or three days in advance.

My wife and I needed help at the Home Depot in Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC. We were in the home decor section. Since there was no one was available. We found an employee pushing a cart and asked her if she could help us find a product. Not unexpected she said she was busy but did take me to Jake or Jack (20 something with long hair and wearing knit hat) he was accompanied with a female (20 something with hair shaved on the sides but long on top) they were waiting with an

Went to this location today to get a few garden needs, explained to an associate what I was looking for in the garden center and she was beyond rude to me as a customer. Asked me if I even knew what it was I was describing, and spoke to me in such a disrespectful manor. Will not be returning to this location, but instead going across the way to the competitor.

The customer service here is horrible. The lady who was checking us out seemed like she was so mad that we were purchasing something and gave us attitude. We were buying paint and she made a comment about how I needed my husband to carry it when I went to grab it. Very uncalled for, as I am 100% capable of carrying paint! Very weird and uncalled for. Won't be returning, I have much more enjoyable experiences at Lowe's
