I cannot speak enough good things about this shop and the owner, Andrew. He is great and is the most professional and honest mechanic in town. I started using him in 2022 and have not used anyone since. His pricing is fair and he only does the necessary work with suggestions on what to keep an eye on. He loves to figure out the why and not just tell you that this and that needs to be done. I will continue using Andrew for the foreseeable future and bring all my vehicles to him. I highly recommend The Neighborhood Garage!

Andy saved both of our vehicles. My wife's car had a major transmission issue. Instead of changing the transmission and charging us himself, Andy did the research for us and found that she qualified under a recall and gave us paperwork to take to the dealership. We took it there and got her entire transmission replaced for free.
Few weeks later and my car starts making a terrible noise. He literally stuck a long screwdriver in the engine and put the other end up to his ear and told me the exact problem. I did some googling and calling and he was right. About a week later and not only did he fix the engine, but fixed an oil leak, coolant leak, dead battery, spark plugs, and about a dozen other things that were well overdue but he caught. I walked away paying a price I'm happy with and the certainty that I won't need to buy a new car anytime soon.

Tina Turner said it perfectly....SIMPLY THE BEST! after a frustrating day of trying to get my car there...3 jump starts and finally a tow...a day and a half later I got my car back. He ran multiple tests to make sure every thing was just right! Thank you, Andrew!

Andy is the best mechanic around in Charlotte! He will treat your car as his own. I have finally found a good shop for my 1994 Isuzu trooper, and have been coming back for several years now. Highly recommend!

I don’t know why this company is rated so highly because they have poor customer service and don’t stand my there work. I garage motor installed in October 2022 with warranty. In November the bolt n nut came out of the unit, they came to repair charged me for it It has come out 2 since then and when I called they recommended I got to Walmart to get thread that would stop it from coming loose. Why is that my responsibility when I paid the company to do a job. I want to speak to the owner!

Andrew is a wonderful trusted mechanic and very reasonably priced. Needed new brake pads and rotor and with an appointment he got my car in and out in the same day.
