I had an antique sake jar that I had purchased in Tokyo years ago and brought it to The Lamp Place and had it made into a lamp. They were terrific showing me the options and helping me design what turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL lamp. They know their stuff, and they helped me keep the costs reasonable too!

Always excellent customer service and great selection of lamp shades and lovely lamp showroom. Their items are not the cheapest in town, but pretty reasonable considering the outstanding assistance they give customers. The quality of their products is high and the guidance and help they give you in making the right selections are well-worth the price. They also do lamp repairs/maintenance and do excellent work.

I took my broken lamp in and was immediately greeted by two lovely emplyees. They assessed the problem, had the supplies on hand for the fix and proceeded to complete the repair in under 10 minutes. Will only go there! Highly recommend!!!

This is the best place to go in Charlotte North Carolina for lamps. If you need maintenance on your lamp this is the place. Their knowledge of lambs is beyond regular retail. Extremely satisfied with their service.

They carefully rewired a treasured lamp from my family, helped me find the right shade and fit for another lamp, and have a wide selection of unique lamps ready to go. I was so impressed by their thoughtfulness and selection!

I needed new updated shades from my father's home who has since passed. I had taken small lamps and also a floor lamp in the last two weeks. I could not be more pleased. Everyone that works there is so helpful picking out shades. I would go no where else as this is the place to go for new lamps and updating your shades. I want to thank them for the great service they provide their customers!

Make sure they give you your finial (and shade) if having a lamp repaired or else they will blame you and try to charge you for another one. I had a bizarre experience there. Quite shocking and disappointing when customer service is claimed, but not demonstrated on a consistent basis.
