I had my Dog Jackson trained , here in November. I could not be more pleased with the results. Every staff member I have interacted at Dog Knowledge are welcoming and Dennis is amazing and extremely knowledgeable! They give on going help with questions you have, and truly mean you are their customer for life if you have your dog trained here. We have attended a few of their Sunday classes they offer for free, and they have been extremely helpful. At graduation I signed Jackson up to be a member, for daycare and boarding, he loves going. The best thing I have done for Jackson is having him trained at Dog Knowledge! I recommend them to everyone that says they need training for their dog.

Dennis and the staff at The Dog Knowledge are the best in Charlotte! Our beloved puppy spent a month in training with Dennis and came home a well behaved & trained dog. They use a treat reward system that your dog will love! I can't recommend The Dog Knowledge enough! We purchased the membership and plan on using TDK for boarding and doggy day care.

My experience with Dog Knowledge has been nothing short of exceptional! I enrolled my pug in their training program, and the results have been great.The trainers at Dog Knowledge are highly skilled but also incredibly passionate about what they do. What impressed me the most was their positive reinforcement approach. After completing the training program, I noticed a significant improvement in my pug's behavior. She's now more obedient, confident, and well-behaved.

I'm a little late, but definitely wanted to be sure that all props were given where due!I decided to board my dog here for training after a neighbor's recommendation. Initially, I was hesitant due to the cost, however, after much debate, I realized that you typically get what you pay for, so decided to give it a try. For starters, I horribly planned to do this while getting ready for a 2 week international trip, but Dennis/Mary and the team had no problem accepting us in an already full class at the last minute.While on my trip, I received consistent updates in terms of training progression as well as photo updates via email and Instagram. There was a REALLY great information and demonstration graduation "ceremony" at the end with nice goodies to take home, and I'm happy that this ended up being one of THE BEST DECISIONS that could've been made for my furbaby and family!

Dennis and staff at The Dog Knowledge are fantastic! My dog Lars is back home and I am beyond happy with the training he received for the past 4 weeks. I highly recommend them to anyone needing dog training.

The Dog Knowledge is true to their name. My 18-month-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel returned home after his 4-week training with so much confidence and maturity. It was like a son or daughter returning from college exhibiting tremendous personal growth. My puppy aspires to be a therapy dog in an acute care hospital setting. He is well on his way to achieving that dream.

I took my Mia four years ago. I still regret and have nightmares when think about this place. I did not know at that time, I was new to dogs, they kept my baby in a hot sun in NC, you know how hot it gets in summer. She developed fearful of water and large people and other dogs after that. Definitely she had a bad experience. She can’t talk. I would never know what she went through. I feel so guilty what I had put her through. Very to get, but can’t. I wish them well. But should also treat dogs well. Dogs may learn some commmds, but at what cost?

My boy, Maxx was very reactive around other dogs. So, I brought him to The Dog Knowledge for the four week training course. I am amazed at how well he behaves, now that he understands the roles and expectations for his behavior. I also took advantage of their at home, training session the week afterwards with Dennis… And having those real life experiences in his environment, where there are a lot of other dogs in my neighborhood was very helpful for both he and I. I definitely recommend taking your dog to the facility for training as they really work with them, as well as with the owner to make our outings, more enjoyable, for both of us!

The Dog Knowledge was highly recommended to me for my dog, Mojo. Their care and training came a long way towards training and socializing Mojo. I especially like that The Dog Knowledge do not use shock collars or fear ion their training. I plan on taking any dogs I get to them for training.

Dennis and his team trained 3 giant schnauzers that are fairly stubborn. After 4 weeks, they walk without pulling, stay in place and no longer steal food. Very impressed and they will take great care of your dog.

The Dog Knowledge is top notch training! Your dog will be in great hands with everyone here. The weekly updates help you feel at ease with leaving your pup somewhere for several weeks. She came home wonderful on a leash and confident in commands.

We had a very positive experience at Dog Knowledge when they trained our English lab puppy. At first we were hesitant to send her away for four weeks, but as the time got closer, we realized it would be a nice break from the chaos that a new puppy brought into our already very busy lives. After training, our puppy was excellent at leash walking and staying on place, which were areas of distress. The home visit was super beneficial to work on things that needed further attention in our own home, like counter surfing. She is a lab puppy and definitely still gets into trouble, but Dog Knowledge helped us so much (and again, it was nice to have a little break!) We are boarding club members, and she loves to go back and see her trainers and play when we go out of town.

We found out about The Dog Knowledge about 10 years ago when we needed a service dog for our daughter. Since then we have had them also train 2 rescues we adopted and they are currently training my daughter's new service dog. They have been absolutely fantastic all these years. They provide all the support you need and then some. I absolutely give them the highest recommendation possible. More than 5 stars.

My new golden doodle went to The Dog Knowledge for training last month and we have been pleased! The staff is positive and knowledgeable with all the dogs and training techniques. The environment is clean and controlled so you feel great leaving your dogs with this team of trainers/staff members. We have chosen to join the membership and will be boarding both our dogs for the first time this weekend. We know we will be relaxed knowing they are in good hands while we are gone!
