I did a couple of price comparisons on items other grocery stores and Aldi's had in common and I found Aldi's always had lower prices (10-25 percent lower). No issues with finding parking, and the staff is very helpful and pleasant if needed.”

11222 Providence Rd W, Charlotte“This location is very busy but they manage it well. I had one small issue with a cart attendant but other than that they have been more than nice and helpful. Clean and well stocked.
On one additional note they should work harder on not sending a customer out on their own to find an item that they are already struggling to find.
Last note, there is a long time employee that is very rude, disrespectful and down right obnoxious. I asked for help and she pointed. I don't have great eye sight so I didn't see what she was pointing at and what followed was nothing short of her ridiculing me for not being able to see or speaking Spanish. This was so obvious that I had to verbally thank the woman and tell her to leave me alone before I said something rude back to her”
“This is really an awesome store in Charlotte, NC, while visiting my daughter. This place has a picture taken booths and it is really clean. I wish they had one in Maryland.”
“The refurbished Aldi is excellent and especially good for people who care about being environmentally conscious. Although prices are through the roof everywhere and Aldi is not immune to it, its still a better choice. They have now added a self checkout section to further speed up the checkout which is always stuck with someone struggling with it. These swlf checkout kiosks just dont align with the Aldi way.”

4120 Sunset Rd, Charlotte“I'm a huge fan of the Aldi system. Once you get inside their processes, it can work very well for you. Start with having a quarter for a shopping cart. You'll get it back at the end when you bring it back to the cart corral.
Inside the store, they have about 80% of the things you need for a full shop. Very little variety in brands or sizes or styles, but they have the stuff. Meats are already cut and wrapped and priced. I think their steaks are a fabulous deal and I've never had a bad one.
Veggies are great though the avocados are typically very underipe. Tomatoes, celery, apples, all great!
Dry and canned goods, they've got bunches. Brands you've probably never heard of but it's pretty close to the same quality as the brands you have heard of.
At the register, you'll be bagging the groceries yourself. Bring your reusable bags, buy bags from Aldi (not cheap) or you can use their cardboard boxes for free.
They have been accepting credit and debit cards at the register for a while, which is a big plus for me!”
“I love Aldi especially the "aisle of shame"! Today I bought cute beaded earrings that look like a monstera leaf and a bird feeder shaped like a small picnic table. In all seriousness, I love their produce and shop there often for good fruits and veggies. It's so much better now that they have self checkout because their used to be our one cashier to about 100 people in line.”

4430 The Plaza, Charlotte“Awesome place, I have gone here a lot of times, and they have a lot of cool and taste stuff. The staff are mostly helpful to help me find things I am looking for, I gave 4 stars due to sometimes it is hard to find staff(you have to look for people with boxes because they do not wear uniforms)to help you or they do not understand what you are saying which is okay because they are trying just sometimes the language barrier gets in the way but if you can show it on internet(if you have signal) on phone most of the time they can lead you the right direction and take you to where you are looking for.”
“Ordered deli trays for an event. The trays were displayed nicely and the food was delicious! The sandwiches were tasty. The fruit was juicy. The cheese trays were plentiful. The staff had everything ready on time.”

2222 South Blvd, Charlotte“I’d like to give a HUGE shoutout to Pam in the Floral section. I have no idea about flowers and bought some for somebody today for the first time. She perfectly trimmed, arranged by color, and put them perfectly in a nice vase for me. Even went out of her way to put a bow on the vase since they were a gift. I’ll for sure be seeing her for all my floral arrangements moving forward!”

2526 Freedom Dr, Charlotte“This location is very busy and I've found myself not going here as much as I'd like due to long wait times. The fast checkout process is one of the many things I love about Aldi but the hardworking cashiers can't keep up. Was happy to see three checkout lanes open today but still had short wait. Open another location to alleviate the pressure please!”
“This business is also listed as El rinconcito Chilango taqueria, but I am listing it under the name as it appears in most other places. This place has the best tacos I have ever had in Charlotte, period. I grew up in Texas, near the border and have eaten Mexican and Tex-Mex food as far back as I can remember, so I'm always looking for Mexican food that is "just right" - this place is it. I've had most every kind of taco made here over the years, looking for the best, and I'm happy to say these are, in my opinion, the ones. If you haven't tried their tacos, please do and see how they compare to your favorites. For me, the right sauces, the right seasonings, the right ratio of ingredients, and the right roasted veggies thrown in all make this a perfect taco meal.”

6454 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte“Excellent selection of items, clean store, and staff were awesome. Super packed today and they were trying to stock but they didn't allow the line to back up to the middle of the store (I've seen that at other stores).”
“My favorite ALDI in Charlotte as of Jan. 2024. This MoRa location has some boxes-in-the-aisles issues at times, but I really prefer the gelato selection here (especially compared to Alb. Rd.). Also like the self-checkouts. (I avoid self-checkouts at other stores, but for ALDIs, I prefer them, as it's not such a 'hurry-up-and-bag-it-already' crisis at the cashier's cart.”

12810 S Tryon St, Charlotte“Nice and clean store. Great customer service. Expansive food selection. Find products that might not be sold in other stores. Higher quality products which is reflected in price.”
“Went to get cold subs from the deli, kind of disappointed with the service. I wanted Swiss cheese in my sub but they just gave an excuse that it needed to be sliced up and made me choose another type of cheese. Even though they had to cut up more ham for the other sub I ordered.Hopefully the next time I go the service will improve cause their subs are good.”
“Everything at Compare Foods 201 is excellent and their workers are wonderful, good service, everything is great and the service is getting better and better, super, super, I have no words to stress, I am happy every time I go”
“What can I say about the wow supermarket. It is fantastic.Trust me your going to love it alsoThe meat freshThe vegetables freshI know what your thinking or it a Mexican store or Latino store but they had foods from all overChinese foods alsoGo and enjoy your self in so the lamb , crablegs, oxtail yummy trust me your want regret it”
“Amazing throwback to yesteryear. One of the last independent grocery/meat market stores left in Charlotte, and pretty much anywhere else.A handwritten chalkboard adorns the far back wall, with both daily listing and specials.Whether you are looking for fish, deli, chicken, poultry, beef, or turkey, Jerry's has you covered. Freshly cut and packaged to your specifications. With plenty of old world charm and impeccable service.Fresh vegetables and produce are available as well. Canned goods and a plethora of spices make up the rest of your typical grocery store fare.Don't forget to patronize your local, homegrown businesses. And Jerry's is a CLASSIC.If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.”
“I recently visited Paso's Supermarket and was impressed by their selection of fresh produce and meats. The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that some of the prices were a bit high compared to other grocery stores in the area. Overall, I would recommend Paso's Supermarket for anyone looking for quality food in Charlotte.”
“My granddaughter and I enjoy shopping at Compare Foods. We can always find Boba and other items (Ginger, Sake, Kimchi and more) that can only be found in an International supermarket. They always have fruits you can't find in the regular grocery stores. I stumbled upon this location way in the back off of Freedom Drive. If you turn left at Showmars, you will run right into it. It is back there off of Crisman Street next to the Movement School.”
“Absolutely love this store. Everything about this place is amazing. Prices are reasonable food is great. They also have a hot bar in side and partnering restaurants on the side I also go to”

5323 E Independence Blvd B-C, Charlotte“Probably one of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I was looking for a tricky ingredient and I couldn’t even pronounce it. The staff really helped me find exactly what I needed and all were so kind and welcoming.”
“Danny’s supermarket is very nice, and very clean. The fruits, veggies and meat are fresh. There’s great customer service. I like that it’s primarily a Latino grocery store, so when I need to purchase a specific item I can find it here. It is definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend it.”
“Meat and produce are really nice with reasonable prices....canned and boxed goods are on the pricey sideOne other thing when is the Concord Store on route 29 going to open??? OMG im waiting and waiting???”
“My go to for years, even after the business switched hands. Multicultural ethnic grocery and butcher shop. You can get specialty items consistently and less expensive than big grocery stores.”
“I was literally racially profiled over a pumpkin! I would never recommend this market nor shop at it again! First thing Monday, once whatever corporate they have opens!! They’ll definitely be hearing from me! As an store manager to another!!! This market is poorly managed! After stating to the store manager that I myself manage a store!! He attempted to give me my whole refunded purchase free! No thanks I’ll be calling your DM!!”
“You barely open the door and Fran is all smiling, "Good morning!" It had been a while since I arrived here in the United States in Charlotte, I wanted to eat couscous and I satisfied the craving. The whole of Brazil fits in the Brazilian supermarket!”
