This is my third pet we have had at St. Francis. Each one has been treated well. My first pet, a golden, was given the best care in the late years of her life by the guidance of St. Francis. The vet was available for calls after hours as needed to help my pet. The second dog, I lost tragically and the vets were extremely helpful in caring for her and me during this loss. And, our current, chow chow, is loved by staff and doctors. She was a rescue and had many problems when we acquired her. The vets brought her back to health. She is living her best life thanks to them. I trust this vet because of the consistent, caring service to my pets over the last 8 years. Couldn't ask for more.

Dr. Ivan is wonderful. He took extra time to talk with me about quality of life concerns with my much older rescue. This is probably the hardest thing to talk about when you have a pet, and he was very compassionate and helpful. Their practice is a blessing.

Used these folks before we moved out of state. We happened to move back to charlotte recently (after a few years) and tried to use someone closer to us, but that was a mistake! The 30 minute drive to see these folks are absolutely worth it. Affordable and great with my dogs!

I met Dr. Ivan for the first time. He was very warm and caring toward Sabrina and helped me understand her health status andpossible treatment available, which I am contemplating. The office staff were also very helpful and friendly. Even Sabrina, who tends to have "white-coat" syndrome, felt more at ease by the end of the visit. Thank you.

We have been coming here since our Pup was 8 weeks and we have been taken care of like we are their favorite customers. When our pup got neutered when we picked him up there was a someone from their staff that was literally cuddling our buddy. Whenever I need any type of refills I can call and count on it to be ready quickly, when I am a freaking out for the smallest thing and I call with my million questions they are super patient and answer my every question and concern over the phone. Dr Kozelka is one of the best vets I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and has always been so knowledgeable and gentle with our pup. For him it’s about taking care of our dogs needs and everytime we see him he remembers Atlas and is very caring towards him. Dr Fernandez has been a great addition as well we got to meet him for the first time this past week, the patience and gentleness he showed towards Atlas was amazing. He made sure Atlas was comfortable with him before he started the check up. I highly recommended coming here as they will make an effort to remember you and your family and take care of your fur babies to the best of their abilities.

I was very impressed with everything related to our visit. St. Francis Hospital and staff. Very efficient, and personable . They are on the other side of town for me......but I shall return! My 1 1/2lb. Kitty was impressed too.

I was looking for a vet for my dog and the reviews that other people wrote convinced me to call St. Francis Hospital for Animals. I am not disappointed in my decision. Dr. Fernandez impressed me because of his knowledge and how well he conveyed his knowledge to me. When I got home I looked him up on-line and his education and where he went to school confirmed my first impression of him. He has a bright future ahead of him. I'm relieved that my dog is in good hands. I will also give 5 stars to the staff as everyone made us feel welcome.Thank you.

This practice was great when we were recommended by a neighbor years ago. However, we noticed when Dr. Cooper retired, our neighbor moved on to a new vet.We stayed and observed as things went downhill. We tried to stick it out through a handful of negative experiences, but the treatment we received at our last visit crossed a line and we will also be taking the needs of our pet elsewhere.Take your pet somewhere that loves animals, not just money.

I really like Dr. Ivan, he is an effective communicator, gentle with our aging pet and also realistic about her needs. The staff was great with my toddler who was very excited to go to the cat doctor!

Every time we bring our cat in for treatment I'm always surprised at how great the whole experience is. The doctors and staff at St Francis clearly care and understand how stressful it is when a pet isn't feeling well - they're always so patient in answering questions and flexible in getting our pets seen as soon as possible.This practice is genuinely an asset to the area and is a gold standard for what veterinary care. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

I had used St. Francis Hospital for Animals and Dr. Cooper since 1997 and have always been extremely pleased with the staff and service and Dr. Cooper is one of a kind. Once Dr. Cooper retired, however, everything changed. Everything is about the almighty $$ -- that now comes first and not the care and well being of my two dogs. I have gone to a new vet and after being a client at St. Francis Hospital for Animals for over 25 years, I will never refer anyone to go there. Front staff service started going downhill after Ashley left. Dr. Cooper is the absolute best of the best. If he had not retired I would still be a client.......no more......no compassion......just want their money now...SUCH A SHAME!

I was apprehensive about trying a new vet here after my vet retired. However I liked Dr Ivan and feel comfortable that my pets are in good hands. He was very competent. Explained charges thoroughly and followed up to make sure my girl had improved as expected. I am very pleased.

Dr. Kozelka was very knowledgeable and attentive towards Theo and Derby's needs. St. Francis Hospital for Animals was very welcoming and transparent about what my pets needed and the costs. Thank you for making my first visit wonderful!

This place was amazing in their service with me. My sweet fur baby had to be put to sleep very unexpectedly and when I went to my vet Matthews animal clinic it was not far from closing time on a Friday. I was having my sweet baby cremated and this is the service they used for that I asked the vet how long it would take for them to come and get my baby and they weren't quite sure being it was almost closing time which of course I understand, but let me tell you they not only still came and picked my dog up he was ready for me to pick up the next morning early I was absolutely AMAZED at how quick they got my baby right back to me as I was already a mess having him back home so quick definitely helped me in my grieving in missing him. I would definitely recommend this place they have exceptional exceptional service!! Thank you so much for helping me so quickly with sweet Cooper.
