I have been coming to South End vet since I adopted my first cat in 2020 and have always been satisfied! We’ve seen a couple different doctors over the years and I’ve always been happy with my experience, but this most recent visit we saw their newest addition, Dr. Upton, and I was blown away. First off, they were able to fit both my cats in together for a joint check-up which was super convenient. And secondly, Dr. Upton was an absolute gem of a vet. It felt like he truly cared about the well-being of my kitties, even though he had just met them. He answered all of my questions no matter how silly and was so great at putting things into perspective so that I could understand more about my pets. Even the way he talked TO my cats during their physical exams, and not just about them, was just so kind and heartwarming. He is definitely someone you want taking care of your pets and I will absolutely be requesting him going forward!

We have been with Dr maples at Southend Vet for more than 12 years. He and his staff have taken care of, now our third Golden Retriever and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. We bring our Golden and our rescue dog 2.5 hours for our check ups. They are family.

I recently switched to South End Vet after taking my dog to another vet in Charlotte for over 10 years. As our pets get older, they need more care, and Dr. Meadows and the team at SEV have been so kind, patient and attentive to my senior dog’s needs without price gouging or guilting us into tests and services we don’t actually need. Can’t recommend them enough.

I switched to Southend Veterinary Clinic about two years ago. I love this vet so much! I have two cats who are very nervous at the vet. I like that this is a small office so we do not have to encounter a lot of other animals on the way in. Every time I've been there, they were immediately ready for me and put us in a room.
One of my cats has a history of digestive problems, Dr Meadows worked closely with me to get her on a new diet and try new options. He also understood my cat is really nervous and gave us medicine to help relax her at the vet.
Every time I go, I feel listened to and relaxed. This office is well run, organized, and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

South End vet is a gem! We’ve been seeing Dr. Maples & his team for a few years now & have been very pleased with how knowledgeable & attentive they are. You never feel rushed and they always throughly explain their evaluations/diagnosis. So thankful to have a vet that we trust & treats our dog, Bogey, like a part of their family!

This veterinary office is literally the best. The staff at this office has always accommodated our dogs to perfection. I can’t say enough about this place and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to Doctor Maples and his team for always providing the upmost care for us and our family.

I’ve been coming here for almost six years and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Maples and Dr. Meadows are both very kind and knowledgeable. They’ll spend additional time with you to make sure you’re comfortable and understand your pet’s needs. They even made same day availability for my pup when we had an emergency so we didn’t have to go to the emergency room. Couldn’t recommend the practice more!

If you are serious about your pet’s well being, look no further. Love everything about this place! They took a really great care for my little fur baby, and I could totally feel that they treated her as one! Highly recommend!

We saw Dr. Meadows for the first time last week for our dog’s annual check up. He was great with not only our dog, but with us as well. He was very friendly, explained everything he was doing, and took his time to answer any questions we had. By the next day, we had received an email with our dog’s lab results. We haven’t had great experiences with vets in the past, and Dr. Meadows calmed all of our nerves! We will definitely be scheduling with him again - he’s by far our favorite vet in the practice, and we can’t say enough good things about him!
