Super easy to book service online and drop my vehicle off. Got text message letting me know when it was ready to go. Brittany got me in and out the whole way without feeling pushed out the door. Facility is very clean, lots of small tables if I needed to sit and work while waiting and there's free WiFi available throughout.

Everyone is really nice and friendly, but always seem to have to wait awhile to get services done. I was there for two hours this past visit this week for an oil change and inspection.

AVOID AVOID AVOID by far worst dealership experience, you'll get better service from a used car shop. Sent me off with overfilled transmission fluid AND overfilled oil in a 2021 sonata. Whatever I didn't make a big deal of it. But now it's been a month and salesman Philip is ignoring me now. I was supposed to receive touch up paint (for big scratches n chips they casually didn't mention knowing I was driving 4 hours for the car) and car fax printed report to have on hand. They never arrived, instead of just resending he's now ignoring me. Once they have your money they don't give a crap. 20+ grand and can't get some common decency. Literally used car shop vibes here. Get with it. My mistake thinking all dealers were good since I've been to many but nope there's definitely rotton apples in the bunch.
Seriously though what kind of dealer sells a 3 year old car with chips and scratches all over. Y'all don't have a scratch guy? Like this is super easy fix for dealers but not for owners. Y'all super cheap. AVOID
They want dealership prices but give you private sale quality vehicles.

I think this is my third time bringing my car for service at this location, and each time I've had great experiences. There's another Hyundai dealership that is closer to my home, but I prefer this location. Brittney was the rep I worked with on my most recent visit. She came up to my car within a minute of my pulling into the garage and found my appointment. I forget if she asked if I had been there before or if it showed in the system, but she knew and gave me a quick reminder of where the waiting room etc was and explained the process to me. Also, I had accidentally booked a service that I didn't need since I was covered by warranty, so Brittney fixed that for me immediately. The waiting area is clean, the coffee machine is a nice perk, there are outlets to charge your phone etc if needed, and the setup allows you to watch them work on your car if you want.

Excellent Service and very professional yet personable. The staff was very polite and friendly. The service waiting area is comfortable and convenient. The complimentary beverages is a very nice and appreciated touch. The dealership is rather new and all areas were well kept and clean. Service appointment went as expected and completed in reasonable time.

I took a while to write this review because I wanted to wait until I got through the entire process of buying a car. I had 1 amazing experience with this dealership back when they were in the other location! So I came back to buy another Hyundai hoping for the same but I WAS WRONG!!!.
I walked in and was greeted by Neil, he was super friendly, which is obvious since he was trying to sell me a car. Once I sat through the greeting and needs he gave me prices alongside of my husband, we didn’t like them, we finally came to an agreement on price. He went back to see what could be done and the price just was not right. So we negotiated again and we made the sale happen because we were ok with the negotiation. Seems like I was not being heard but went through because why not?? I needed a car ASAP.
I went back to the signature part and closing of the deal, I understand it was late but everything was rushed!! Brittany I believe wanted to leave but there was no clear communication on anything and the price once again changed!!! This was surprising since it went down from the agreed price… which I’m not complaining about AT ALL but raises flags on why Neil stated he couldn’t go lower but in the end DID…..
1 day after the sale of my 2024 Hyundai Elantra Neil called to do an “Inspection” that was not done before selling me the brand new car which to me raises more red flags.
Well today 8/30 My tag has expired and NOW that it has expired and with a passive aggressive attitude do they give me the CLEAR answers on what needs to be done, it sucks how they did not tell me anything the other 5 times I was called from this dealership...
This is the WORST experience in buying a car and getting everything squared away. I have bought MANY cars throughout Charlotte and NEVER has it been this UNPLEASANT.
Neil called 3 times for a review and so here is the most honest review on my full experience dealing with South Hyundai this 2nd time. From START TO END.

Although I ended not getting a car from this dealership, Bryan Belden was a great salesperson. His efforts in trying to find a car for me were really appreciated. He was friendly and courteous and didn't pressure me into buying a car. I recommend dealing with him.
