I’m currently in the chair getting my hair done and tbh I’m not too confident with how my hair is going to turn out. I have natural curly and long hair. I wanted my hair washed, dried with rollers instead of blow drying and then flat ironed and then trimmed then silk wrapped under the dryer for a few more minutes. That’s the way my old stylist did my hair and the results were always great. My hair always comes out straight with lots of body, shine, and so smooth. This is the method i truth. I told her thru style seat this is the order I want my hair done.But as I’m getting my hair done, and I’m sitting under the dryer I’m not feeling confident about the way my hair is about to turn out. The only reason I haven’t left yet is because I’ve booked thru an app and my time slot has already taken up more time than predicted and the app is about to charge me. I also haven’t left yet because I still am trying to remain positive that the result could turn out nice because I still have more steps that need to be done.But a few red flags for women who are picky with their hair and who have long naturally curly hair. This stylist is not equipped with the resources to do long hair and I’m not too sure she has the skill either.I wanted my hair rolled up but for stylists experienced with this type of hair they know to roll it when it’s mostly damn and to smoothen out each section of hair as they are rolling. She blow dried my hair all the way then tried to roll it. This makes it harder to roll. She later realized that my hair would HAVE to be wet in order to roll it. She didn’t even have rollers big enough for my hair. She tried to use smaller ones at first until I told her that she was going to need bigger ones. I know how a roller set is supposed to look.She also tried to cut my hair when you can’t accurately see where the split ends are. Major red flag.Pros:- professional- takes precautions with Covid- great scalp massage- friendlyCons:-not equipped with resources for long curly hair-tries to cut your hair at a vulnerable state- poor quality roller set- not cautions about creating more split ends

My hairstylists Makeiba Thomas is one of the best in Charlotte. The place of business is always clean and the other styles has always been welcoming. All of these ladies are top notch in their field and this is definitely the place you want to go for your next trip to the hairstylists.

I was very happy with my experience. Mrs. Joanne was very responsive from the first time I booked. Everyone I encountered was very nice, and very personable. I felt right at home literally (ate my dinner while under the dryer). I was pleased with all covid precaution protocols she had in place. I was asked to wash my hands upon arrival and my temperature was checked. I witnessed sanitation of all stations after customer's use. I ended up getting a rod set as suggested. I love the results and the look of my hair. Mrs. Joanne was not intimidated by my natural hair at all. I was very satisfied and have already booked my next appointment. They are doing all the necessary steps to ensure that they are safe, and the customers are safe. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I wish the ladies all the best!
