We’ve brought our dogs to Rea Rd Animal hospital for many years. The knowledgeable, caring vets and staff clearly love working with animals and their people. So glad to have this practice in our community!

We have been taking our dog Dixie to Rea Road since 2020. She had to have an ACL surgery and the doctor that was recommended was employed at Rea Road. Dixie's surgery was a success. The surgeon, follow up vet, and supporting staff have all been wonderful! Because of the great care, we switched our vets and have been a client since 2020. Everyone we have encountered has been excellent and the follow up care is a plus. I would highly recommend Rea Road!

We cannot express enough how grateful we are for the incredible compassion and care we received. Our sweet boy was a brand new patient, and unfortunately, we faced a heartbreaking situation he couldn’t survive. Despite the devastating outcome, the entire team went above and beyond to make sure our pet was comfortable and that we were supported every step of the way. The kindness and empathy shown by the staff during such a difficult time meant the world to us. They truly care for both their patients and the families, and for that, we will always be thankful. If you’re looking for a vet with a heart, this is the place to go.

The people at the front desk are rude and incompetent. They act like they're the vets when they're not. They showed no concern whatsoever for my senior dog who had blood clots in her urine. When I tried to drop off a urine sample last week, the person I spoke to told me weird, conflicting instructions. The vet said the urine was acceptable to run tests on, but the front desk person refused to take it because in her opinion it wouldn't give accurate results. ??? Okay, so because she refused the urine I had to return the following day with a different urine sample. Nobody demonstrated any care that my dog literally had blood clots in her urine. I was told it would be 24-48 hours for test results, and you would think that considering there were BLOOD CLOTS in her urine they'd want to put a rush on it. Nope. I'm still waiting for the results. When I called this morning to ask about the test results, the person who spoke to me was incredibly rude and condescending.
The vets seem fine at this place, but the front desk people are the literal worst. I wonder if the owner knows how their employees treat their customers.

My dog was bitten by a neighbor's aggressive dog, and they took me in right away, within hours. Dr. Gillis examined the wounds, gave her antibiotics and pain meds and we are well on our way towards total healing. He even sent us home with towels where she might still bleed a little bit (which we will wash and bring back). Thanks, Dr. Gillis and staff! We are so glad that you responded so quickly to get Lilybelle in to be treated! :) Kristen Haynes

I just transferred to this vet for my new puppy and they have been so nice and helpful! I've never had a better experience, very responsive over email and easy to talk to. I'd definitely recommend you go here!

I've been coming here for 20+ years now, first as a kid with the family dog and now as an adult with my own dog. The people have changed but the kindness and commitment to service hasn't. I have been very happy with my experience here and would recommend to anyone with a pet.
