Our favorite local, hometown grocery store. They always have exactly what we need! Quick check outs. Shelves well stocked and a very clean store!

Providence Commons has a grocery store, two banks, a salon, Great Clips, a UPS store, Tide cleaners, an Italian restaurant, and Showmars. The parking lot is easy to get into with plenty of parking. The Harris Teeter that is there doesn't have a hot bar or pizza station, but Showmars and the Italian restaurant make up for it. There is also a Lowe's so you can get all your home repair items.

This is a fairly large neighborhood strip mall with liquor store, Harris Teeter grocery, and BP gas station, among many other businesses. It is a good local shopping center, but the Harris Teeter tends to mirror prices of the store on Providence Rd (Providence Commons, by Lowe's) and so is more expensive than the Harris Teeter a couple of miles to the south at Austin village, or the one further south at Sun Valley. As I usually pass one of the other stores when am running errands, I choose not to shop at this HT.

A little disappointed with this store recently. The staff (who I have dealt with) are pleasant and helpful. No complaints at all on that end, but the meat and fresh vegetables/fruit are leaving a lot to be desired. I find it to be questionable when I would rather get those items from Walmart. I have found beef that should have been removed before opening the doors still out on display; from brown spots to fully brown. Pork that, even though the sell-by date is good, should not be in the cooler. The vegetables/fruits appear alright some days and not so much on other days. I will continue to shop here, however, I may choose an alternative for those items. + Staff, Cleanliness, Organization, Stock Availability - Meat, Vegetables [Varies], Fruit [Varies]

I didn't go to the whole Foods store, I went to great clips right beside it, in the same strip of buildings. I love great clips.
