I hope I could post as a negative as it was really BAD!!!!! Call ahead of time and asked if this bank location has notary service. After a positive answer I arrived to be informed, that this location will not do notary services.

This is my local branch and I have worked with several different women over the last couple years for my local small business. They have all been efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I appreciate having a great local branch with friendly agents I can depend on!

I was in Charlotte to handle family business and came to this branch to access a parent's account with the correct documents in hand. I was asked if I'd already filed the paperwork with PNC bank, which I hadn't. I asked why. The manager or assistant manager told me he was '99% sure' you had to file it and go through a waiting period. That was completely different to other banks and I was told 'we do things differently here.' I left and took my documents to another PNC branch nearby, was treated politely and they handled my request quickly. There was no filing of forms and no waiting period. The people at this branch don't know their own procedures.

Just last month November 2018 my Daughter and I came to PNC Cotswold location to cash checks that was drawn up on this bank , the reason we were there because we were told it wouldn't cost a fee or it could be a small fee, after logging the checks into the bank computer it cost 110.78 wow , then if that wasn't enough the teller had informed us before hand that she could cash the checks but it would be 2000 dollars worth of 20 dollar bills, ok it took a very long while to get this transaction complete it was very time consuming, the 2000 dollars we're banded that was given to us and we failed to count it because it was banded and it was 2000 in 20's , we left the bank and the money was put up in a safe place and never touched until the time came to use the money for a purchase, at that time three people counted the banded 2000 dollars three times each and it came up 100 dollars short each time , we were shocked and it really wasn't anything to be done about it but report it to the bank, we never had dealings with this bank and really never paid any attention to them through out the city before now, but it turned out to be a costly mistake on our part because the consultant at the bank draw came up correct, I've had banded money several times but it has never come up short ,we should of unbanned the 2000 dollars worth of 20's and took the time to count it ,oh we took the loss but let it be known since we were told it couldn't of been a money machine error then someone's steeling money , I didn't mention the consultants name who helped us because I really can't blame anyone pacificly but us, lessons learned.

I stopped today at this PNC branch to cash a check. In a condescending manner the 'greeter' - no tellers here - offered to teach me how to use the ATM. I declined and waited for assistance from an employee. This employee during our under three minutes together asked about my New Year's resolutions - none of his business - and ended the transaction by asking me if I needed a hug.

Had a insurance check I needed to cash...it was a PNC check...was told I couldn't cash it because of the “lack of funds†....and because it was Christmas they were not able to cash it....I would have to open an account in order to have access to my funds to fix my vehicle...(not good) The rep that assisted in opening the account was absolutely horrible....she told me everything I could not do....charge for this and a charge for that....â€it would be two days to see your moneyâ€......but the lady's behind the counter said it's their check so maybe tomorrow... The girl helping me was very rough and lacked major in customer service.....I don't understand how she got her job....I guess everyone interviews well....🤷ðŸ½â€â™€ï¸

WARNING: They don't have a traditional teller, someone greets you and they bring you back to their office and then try to sell you on EVERYTHING. Felt like a Wells Fargo sham. Not going back.
