Staff here is always willing to assist. ATMs are always up and running properly which means a lot being that there aren’t a lot of PNC banks around Charlotte

Went to this location and spoke with the female branch manager about removing a lien from my pickup truck. My father had took out a loan and used the truck as collateral. I had the form from the DMV and asked her to sign the bottom portion to inform the DMV that the loan was paid off and the lien should be removed. She wanted me to go on a website and pay for the bank to send a letter to the DMV to inform them that the lien should be removed. She never signed the form even though I explained to her that I took the day off from work to get this taken care of. PNC bank is not about serving their customers but squeezing every dollar from them. This bank have the worst reviews. I don't know how anyone would do business with them. Wish I could give them no stars instead of one star.

I'm a new customer to PNC bank. I went onto their website to reschedule a payment from thre 16th to the 31st which is when it is actually due, because money was a little tight it being Christmas and all. I thought that I had successfully changed the date to pay my mortgage, BUT it appears I did not get past the "next", "next", "next" window prompts to change the date I wanted to pay my mortgage. So on the 16th I received a notice from my bank that the mortgage payment tried to go through and it was unsuccessful. I was charged $28 NSF fee from my bank. I called PNC and was told that I did not go through all of the prompts and saw where I made an error. The PNC customer service representative told me to send PNC an email with the attachment from my bank showing I was charged an NSF fee and ask PNC would they pay it due to me not being able to clearly navigate through their unfriendly website. That was denied. PNC has it noted on my account as "Customer error". Well, we already know it was my error because your website is so difficult to navigate through, it took the customer service representative time to help me get to the correct window to reschedule my payment to the 31st. She also said tjat they take complaints about their website seriously and she would forward my concerns to the appropriate department. This is now PNC treats its new customers. No user-friendly website charges all NSF fees and now wants me to pay the $25 NSF fee that they "say they have the right to charge" because their computer doesn't work for free". What???? I couldn't even figure out how to get to the right window to reschedule my payment and now it's costing me $53 more because PNC has a website that requires a degree to properly use and THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE AVAILABLE. BEWARE OF PNC BANK. THEY HAVE A SHODDY WEB SITE AND THEIR MANAGEMENT IS ALL ABOUT PENALTIES THEY ADD UP AT THE END OF THE YEAR TO GET THEIR YEAR-END BONUSES. ALL OFF THE BACKS OF THEIR "CUSTOMERS" WHO THEY APPRECIATE SO MUCH. B******** I received a call from PNC Bank today stating that they are responding to my complaint. That's it. They still offered NO CUSTOMER SERVICE to me. I still cannot navigate through their website because it will not recognize my sign in name or password. The gentleman who called me said he wasn't calling to waive the NSF fee from my account. WHY DID HE CALL ME THEN???? PNC has it documented that it is the customer's error and my problem that I was unable to navigate through their poor website to change my due date to pay my mortgage on time. So this person called me to rub it in my face! He said he would transfer me to the department to help walk me through their website settings. I said no thanks you're getting a paper check in the mail for the next 30 years because you show no customer service nor have any credible reason for waiving the NSF fee on PNC's side except to rub my error in my face. I hope PNC sells my mortgage to a more reliable financial institution who understands mistakes happen and not to rub it in the face of their customers, which they have now done to me TWICE! PNC IS THE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY IN BUSINESS AND THEIR REPUTATION IS JUST AS BAD AS THE DAY THEY WERE SUED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FOR BEING ONE OF THE MAJOR PLAYERS IN THE HOUSING CATASTROPHY.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, I received a call from an (888) 762-2265 number. I did not pick up that call but received a text message at 6:37pm that stated "Free Msg: PNC Bank Fraud Dept. Did you attempt $102.50 at Walmart * Atlanta, GA with card ending #0627 Reply YES or NO". I texted backed "NO" and the same (888) 762-2265 number called back. I then answered the call and a PNC Representativeanswered and wanted to make sure I wasn't in Atlanta, GA using my card. She sent me a verification code to prove her identify. This representative wanted to make sure that no unauthorized transactions had taken place and went ahead and reviewed my transaction history with me. She assured me that no withdrawals had taken place and that she was going to flag my account and put a hold/stop on it. Now, the next day, to my surprise my account has been wiped clean. There was an unauthorized telephone transfer of all my funds from my saving's account to my checking's account then two (2) unauthorized withdrawals from my checking's account at a PNC Branch ATM located at 4475 Randolph Road, Charlotte NC wherein they withdrew $500.00 cash. Another withdrawal was made at a Harris Teeter grocery store located within minutes of the PNC Bank, wherein they withdrew $1,967.96. The representative in Customer Service told me that there were "NO" hold/freezes placed on my account yesterday and no comments were added. Confused, I told her that I spoke with a representative yesterday and she mentioned to me that she was going to investigate. This new representative then tells me "it's nothing that they can do". I arrive at a PNC Branch located at 2000 Randolph Road, Charlotte, NC to meet with a manager. I ended up meeting with Robert A. Rose, Branch and Business Center Assistant Manager. I tell Robert everything from the time I received the calls on Wednesday night to when I spoke with a representative prior to walking into the Branch. Robert then asked to see the calls and text/verification code I received. He replied that same exact thing just happened to a different costumer that same morning! That costumer received the same calls AND the same text message verbatim. He then proceeds to say "nothing can be done until all withdrawals are posted and that wouldn't be until 10pm tonight". He then said, "come back tomorrow to dispute the charges." He also said he would see if any provisional credit can be added but that he couldn't guarantee it". I went back to meet with Robert the next day at the branch and brought a copy of the police report. I double checked my PNC account and realized that one of the unauthorized transactions came from this same location! I walk in and mention as well as showed him the new evidence I found , which was actually a copy of the virtual wallet transactions and he had a lackadaisical attitude. I asked if he could rewind the cameras and he said not until the Police come with a warrant. Robert was full of information yesterday and suddenly he's saying that everything is "confidential". Robert obviously knows something because his hands were shaking the whole time I was there, and he suddenly seemed a nervous wreck. Robert then tells me that a provisional credit will not be issued until 10 business days - 2 weeks! I tell him, "what am I supposed to do with no money in my account "! He then tells me to use my new card and if it goes in the negative, PNC Bank can refund SOME of the fees. That's ridiculous and asinine. Why am I not given a provisional credit and why do I have to bear the brunt of some of these charges while being left during the weekend with no funds to my name. I left the Branch unsatisfied and decided to call PNC Headquarters and then realized that it's THE SAME NUMBER THAT CALLED ME ON WEDNESDAY REGARDING MY ACCOUNT AND FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY. I am very disappointed with the treatmen

I do not bank at PNC however I had to go in for different business. As soon as you walk in there is a customer service person ready to assist you. They guide you to where you need to be; whether its directly to the banker or you need to see someone about a loan or account. They invite you to sit and wait while they contact the proper person to meet with you. I believe the customer service here is excellent. Their desire to ensure I understood what I was being asked of and that they answered all my questions put me at ease. When I was done they were cordial in their send off. The next day I received a call asking me to return as there was something wrong with the paperwork. They were very apologetic and I believe cared that they inconvenienced me. I was very impressed with the level of customer service that I experienced at this bank. I'm not sure if I have had this level of service outside of my own bank. Thank you PNC.

Poor customer service, long wait times, the highest check cashing fees, and the most stringent verification processes. They call the customer for every check, so if they don't answer you're out of luck. Come with 2 forms of ID or they won't cash check. The cherry on top was there system was down today.

$10 fee to cash one of their own checks. Other banks don't do that.
