Was 5 minutes late with my 1.5 and 8 year old. Walked up and both women were smoking cigarettes less than 5 feet from the door. Begged if they could just fix my daughter’s hair and they refused. Will never come back to this establishment.

Ms. Jelisa was really great with my little man. We have been having the worst time trying to find a barber that is good and patient with kids since moving to this area and she was amazing with him. We will definitely be back!

Had a great experience with stylist Ronnie today! She was so patient with my 2 year old and was great at talking with him and making sure he had something to distract him. She was also amazing with my 6 year old! The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful!

This is a great place to get a haircut for your kid. All of the stylists do a wonderful job and keep the kid occupied. My only complaint is that when I had an appointment booked for my son the same day it was canceled and I didn’t realize until we showed up for our appointment. They called but I don’t check voicemail often. I wish they had sent a text message confirming cancelation. I would have seen that.

Terrible! Asked the hair stylist to take 3 inches off of my daughter’s beautiful curly hair… She measured it when it was dry and I thought she understood the task. She sprayed her hair with a bottle of water to make it damp in some places and soaking wet in others. She cut it in the weirdest way I’ve ever seen someone cut hair and I realized it was because she was attempting to put layers in it (something I did NOT ask for and she never asked if we wanted!) She the took 3 inches off of the WET hair which is a lot more than 3 inches off dry curly hair! You never ever put layers in thick curly hair - that’s a BASIC rule! She then barely combed it out, didn’t attempt to dry it or style it at all and sent us on our way. There was NOTHING special about the experience, she was very rough when combing my daughter’s hair (because it’s hard to comb through damp curly hair!). They won’t shampoo the hair even if you ask - apparently they stopped doing that after Covid. Their website makes NO mention of the fact that they won’t wash or dry the hair and I am so sad for my daughter that she didn’t get the haircut she wanted and the experience was not nearly as fun or special as going to the other kids haircut place in the area! We will never be back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Pigtails & Crewcuts in Cotswold! My toddler was so excited to see all the cars to sit in and to hold while he got his hair cut. Ronnie was fabulous and energetic which kept him happy and calm. She did a great job with the haircut! My little one is still talking about how much fun he had and loved picking out a prize when he was all done. I love how notes are left on file about how the haircut was done so it can be referenced at future appointments and adjusted if needed. We will definitely be back!!

I’m really disappointed to have to write this review because before now, we’ve always had a good experience here. We had a 5:30 appointment to get our son’s haircut. Right before we arrived, our 2 year old informed us in the car that he pooped and needed a diaper change. I had my husband run in as soon as we parked to let them know we were there, since I assumed we were probably one of their last appointments for the night. He came in at exactly 5:33 letting them know we arrived and that I was changing our son’s diaper in the car. He ran back out to help me grab our other 8 week old son who was also with us. Upon walking back in, he was told that it was 5:36 and the establishment only had a 5 minutes grace period. He tried to explain that we checked in at 5:33 but was told that since the child “wasn’t with him upon check in” they were refusing service. We traveled with 2 children, one being 8 weeks old, 30+ minutes, only to be told our son could not be seen. It was very evident the women just wanted to leave for the day and didn’t care to honor our appointment. Had we not had an appointment, I would totally understand. But we were there within the required timeframe and were still turned away. As a mom juggling getting two young kids out the door, this is extremely frustrating. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

First time here and Stacey was amazing with my one year old! Very friendly and quick too! I will definitely be back again.I have to come back and give a 1 star because I was late by 5minutes due to bad traffic and they didn’t want to see my child. I won’t be back.Service: Haircut

The last time I go to to this place rush job 15 minutes is not enough to do a haircut. I don’t recommend this place to nobody go to anybody give the customer time and make it right.

I'm not use to leaving reviews unless it's really good service or really bad service (like extremes). Unfortunately this was a TERRIBLE service. This was my second time here, I have a 1 1/2 year old boy who in 3 times of sitting and getting hair cut has NEVER cried or moved enough to cause any trouble to the hairstylist he's very well behaved. The first time we were there I asked for regular ONLY scissors and absolutely NO machine cut keeping more of a baby face and not so much toddler cut. She did as I asked only at the end she "lined up" or "cleaned up" edges with the machine. That I did NOT ask for. I observed her but did not saying anything. Next cut we went in, she remembered us and sat us down. I asked for the same thing with again ONLY scissors and NO machine. She proceeded to literally get the machine out and started cutting my baby's hair, I obviously said something respectfully and she just replied "it's okay I've been doing this for years, this is only a #7 it's the same thing as if I'm doing it with scissors it's just faster" she saw my face of worry and stopped cutting him with the machine and proceeded with scissors. By this time his hair was extremely uneven, she continued literally CHOPPING not cutting his hair. the whole visit was very very rushed just like the first one. Making us feel like she was just trying to get us out of there instead of actually worrying about doing a good job. My sons hair is SO SO UNEVEN his dad was very upset and friends started noticing the awful haircut and told us we should've NEVER paid for this kind of job. It was horrible. Do not recommend. Save your money. Go else where. We pay for ATTENTION, please listen to your clients when they speak. We pay for a service, we get to decide what our sons hair should look like not you.
