My first time taking my dog to this petsmart groomers and the last!! I encountered a horrible experience with the grooming salon manager Tammy. She was very rude!!! I dropped off my puppy @8:00am then went back up there around 11:00am to check on my puppy because I know she gets a little anxious and worked up. So I like to get updates to she how’s she’s doing. I didn’t know doing that was so wrong. I went in and Tammy had an attitude with me. Then they called saying she was ready @1:00pm. When I walked in she rudely handed me my receipt to take to the register. I will not be disrespected like that so I will not take my dog back there.

If I could give half a star for the Grooming Department - I would. Took my dog today for an appointment at 9am and since we were due to be at an event for my sons birthday an hour away, asked if I could drop him off at 8:30 when making the appointment and I was told that was no problem. Skip to today for my appointment...I arrived and no one was in the grooming station so I pressed the button that said "press here for assistance" and waited and nothing. Pressed it again a few minutes later and waited and nothing. Then, a cashier from the front of the store comes in and asked if I had an appointment and I said that I did and was told that I could drop my dog off early. He then went to go find someone who worked in the grooming department and they came in saying that they didn't open until 9 and that she had to get the computers "turned on and ready to go". I said I'd not be waiting because I was already over it and her attitude was less than welcoming. My wife decided to go back in and take him and the groomer told her this time that "because my dog was in the system as a Boxer mix" that he'd have to be picked up immediately following his appointment 45 minutes after we dropped him off. Again, we had tickets to an event for my sons birthday which is why we asked to drop our dog off early in the first place. Anyway, she told us that because he was a "Boxer mix" that they had breathing issues and they weren't allowed to be crated in the back. 1) That is the furthest thing from the truth as I've seen Boxer mixed dogs there before. 2) Our dog had been going to that location for the last 3 years. We ended up having to go back home with our dog because they refused to take our dog and provide the service we had scheduled and have had done for THREE YEARS. Don't waste your time with this location. They are always rude and never accommodating.

I encountered a horrible experience with the grooming salon manager Tammy when I took my puppy into the salon to be groomed. Not only was she rude but she stated that "the dog is not safe" and that they would not allow anyone else to groom my puppy because "she needs to be trained" and is a hazard when they are trying to trim her. My 9 month old yorkie, is very loving, playful and hyper, she just wants to play 24/7. I am certain that my puppy is not the first or the last active puppy who has been to that salon. If your head groomer is unable or unexperienced to handle active young puppies, I would suggest that the store get someone else who is a bit more experienced. I have never received any negative feedback any other time I have taken her to be be groomed and she goes monthly. This was my first time coming to this location and it will be the last.

My dog got groomed by Tammy and I do not recommend. I was very transparent about my dogs needs and issues and yet when I picked her up - 5 hours later mind you - she was choppy, hadn’t had her nails cut, and undone. I was met with excuses and accusations about my dog by this groomer. She offered a “fair price” to me as if I know what the prices of services are and wanted to take a measly $20 off of a $140 service. Extremely unhappy with the unprofessional behavior of her and the manager who was eager to leave because he was “off the clock.” I had to go home and finish cutting my dogs hair myself. Save yourself time, money, and energy and get your pup groomed somewhere else.

I went to PetSmart -S. Blvd for puppy training classes. The trainer failed to arrive and there was a lack of communication in the store about the status of the training class. Another lady was there with her dog for training as well. We chatted, shopped, and waited almost 30 minutes- on a Saturday morning (You read that right, Saturday!). We finally provided our contact information on a piece of receipt tape we were given by a cashier. It’s been a week and half and no one has called or offered a solution. This store is usually great, but the training program is a little sketch right now. Hopefully, things look up after this is straightened out.
