I recently moved to Charlotte and wanted to set up a new client visit to establish a relationship. Dr. Barbara Nicks was so kind and sat down with me and answered all of my concerns about being in a new region / climate for my standard poodle. Everyone in the office was very friendly. I like that I'm able to call and not have to go through a menu to talk to a real human. I'm happy with my decision to use Nicks as my vet here in Charlotte.

Went in for a first official vet visit for my new puppy who was adopted. They all were very kind and caring but didn't do any type of analysis of my dog, it seemed like they just wanted to get his shots (which I understand) but there was no actual look over or any kind of assessment.

My partner and I are eternally grateful for Dr Nicks. She and her team helped us every step of the way through a very heartbreaking disease FIP, which caused the loss of our precious very first 5 month baby Molly who had to be put to rest so she could be at peace. ? Thank you for everything. We will most definitely return when we are ready to welcome a new member of our little family.

Dr. Nick and staff are wonderful. I started bringing both my kitties here about 5 years ago. My one senior cat has all kinds of issues relating to her thyroid. She is also nervous in car rides and vets. I have never seen her take to a vet or staff like she has. My other at can be a holy terror, but again, she is comfortable and some what calm at Dr. Nicks. I feel my fur babies are in good hands with Dr. Nick.

I love Dr Nicks and the team at Nicks Vet. They have been my vet for 12+ years and have taken great care of both of my dogs. We lost our senior dog this year and they were compassionate and made a difficult experience as good as it could be. They go above and beyond.

This vet is the reason my puppy is no longer with me. Dr.Nick is not fit to practice veterinary medicine. We took my perfectly healthy puppy to her for a routine procedure of having my puppy neutered and the carelessness of her and her unqualified staff did no pre surgery bloodwork and called to tell me they lost my puppy and i needed to come pick it up, they didnt offer any explanation as to what happened or anything and when we arrived she was the rudest and most uncompassionate human ive ever met even at one point telling my gf to stop crying. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS VET. She should not be practicing veterinary medicine anymore

STAY FAR AWAY. A PERFECTLY HEALTHY PUPPY IS NO LONGER ALIVE DUE TO "DR". NICKS NEGLIGENCE. He went in to be neutered and 2 hours later Dr. Nicks called to say his heart had stopped and gave ZERO EXPLANATION. Come to the hospital and she is laughing and saying she can not talk over the cries of grief. ABSOLUTELY HEARTLESS and should not be in practice.

We are very thankful for Dr. Nicks and her amazing team. The compassion and thoughtful care they have provided for our older dog has been beyond compare. His health has improved dramatically since we began seeing them. We now drive almost an hour to come see them, but the trip is well worth it. Highly recommend Nicks Veterinary Hospital.
