I got into a car wreck and my car went to a caliber collision shop .Come to find now that MAINSTREAM MOTORS ON N TRYON street sold me wrecked car. They are selling wrecked cars don't go by the car fax report either. NEVER GO HERE AND GET CAR !!!

Predatory lending. I purchased a vehicle from them in April, 2024 and my first car note was due on May 15th. It's now June 07 and he sent a repo man to take my car. I made a $2000 down payment and he tried to charge me another $400 for taxes and tags that he knew that I couldn't get because I live in South Carolina and have a SC driver's license. You can not register a vehicle in the state of North Carolina with a SC driver's license. I spoke with him last Thursday to explain to him the situation and why I wouldn't be able to get to NC to change the paperwork. 1. I work two hours away from my home in SC., 2. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer and had MRI and CT scan appointments that weekend that I spoke with him, and 3. I wouldn't be able to get there until this weekend. Yet Bill comes back and says, "you didn't call me". He's an evil, lying business man and I pray that God never allows him to sell not one more vehicle until he does right by this. This was wrong on so many levels. Not to mention that I just purchased over $1000 in brand new tires because the ones that they had on the vehicle weren't any good, the windshield wipers needed to be replaced and a wheel. All of this was money that I had to spend since purchasing the car and I didn't even have it for a full month. I can't even be mad because I had an eyry feeling about them to begin with and now I know why.

Purchased a vehicle from this lot! The next day the check engine light came on! I called them was told to bring the car back up there it had 2 codes that came up! I was told they have a mechanic that works on foreign vehicles but he was not licensed to work on my vehicle! They offered me 1000 to cover 2500 worth issues!!!

At first I was a little hesitant because it wasn’t chevy/ford major car dealership but my hesitation was quickly replaced with satisfaction. I lived in GA and had been in contact with Ronny about purchasing a vehicle. Despite me living so far away, he quickly sent me all the information I needed and was more than happy to help me. I made the drive to the dealership from GA and Bill assisted me with the purchase. There were no hidden fees or games played. Bill was extremely honest and very upfront which was refreshing considering other dealerships just tell you what you want to hear. The dealership had very competitive prices within a 400 mile radius, hence why I drove up to purchase the vehicle. They also did a fresh oil change and a state inspection for me.To top things off when i drove home I noticed that one of the backup auxiliary lights was out so I messaged the dealership about it. Considering that every car is sold as is and the light was an aftermarket product put on by the previous owner, there wasn’t much they could do. Instead the mailed me a $50 gift card to try and make up for it which was wonderful.I plan on driving the vehicle I bought until the wheels fall off but the next vehicle I buy will certainly be from Mainstream Motors North.10/10 would recommend.-Alec
