Couldn't give a 5 star rating, wanted to give it a 3 star but that wouldn't fair to the great staff working hard everyday!! My only issue with this store is the checkout process!! 5 checkout lanes, only 1 open unless there is a line 10 people deep then they open the 2nd lane briefly. It takes me less time to drive there and shop then it does to just checkout. Rip out 3 of the 5 lanes and put in 3 self checkout. PEACE!!

I think it was the best place to buy!! excellent market, fresh, although they didn't have everything you settled in and bought what you needed, it was clean, organized and a good minimarket proposal, but for several weeks now the products they sell are about to expire and the worst thing is that when you arrive home to consume or prepare them immediately they are damaged, or slimy, as has happened to me with the bacon, the smell of the meat is strange, the milk that says it still has several weeks to expire is already damaged, it is frustrating and sad to see that They have grown but their products are terrible... ahh and they have several products like corn chips that have expired for two months there for sale, always check the dates first.

Shopping at Lidl is fine. The prices are good and the products are like you'd find anywhere else. Working for this company is a nightmare. They literally hire just anyone and most of the employees have emotional and/or drug issues and are always yelling or upset about something. Their management style is inducing fear into employees to get more out of them. Lidl is designed to run on skeleton crews, which is super stressful if people have to call out. This is the shortest job I've ever had. I lasted 3 months. I couldn't take the emotional chaos anymore. This place is just flat out abusive if you're an employee. Good riddance.

Lidl has plenty of good stuff. I like the choice of fresh vegetables. I sigh it had unsweetened (or regular) soymilk and Special K. I couldn't find vegetable juice (like V8) nor baby Swiss (or regular Swiss).

We came in yesterday and bought a package of lamb chops, they looked good, not expired etc. Opened the package and the smell was absolutely disgusting! We immediately threw them into a sealed bag but the house smelled for hours. Won't ever buy meat there again

A welcome addition to the Steele Creek neighborhood. We already have a Walmart Supercenter, Super Target, two Publix, ALDI and Earth Fare (might be closed again, can't tell). All within three miles of this new Lidl. Hooray for competition.Prices here are excellent. This is a full supermarket with many options in the produce department, great bakery, lots of canned and bottled goods, dairy variety and multiple cuts of different proteins in the butchery. Many are name brands, too!

I have never been so disrespected by a grocery store employee ever in my life.I had just gotten out of the gym. I feel exhausted and I drove to this Lidl to buy some food. I forgot my wallet, so I went inside to ask the cashier if I can use Apple Pay first before I grabbed my cart. Once he said that I can, I headed back to the front to grab my cart but my son (who is Autistic) texted me. He is an adult, lives by himself, but I help him with his everyday life matters.I was texting him back as I was walking out the entrance to grab a cart to walk back into the store, and a store associate called “Martin” started to yell at me. “Ma’am you can’t walk out that way!” Not in a kind way, but this man started to shout at me in front of everyone. I was already out the front door so I just kept going and grabbed a cart.(I understand that I should have walked all the way around and thru the exit. Yes, I admit I was wrong, but if you would have been there you would have noticed that I was already out the door by the time he yelled like a maniac. You would have also noticed that I was exhausted and sweating, and worried about my son. This man could have been a little nicer since HE WORKS THERE.)As I came back in, he came at me shouting and saying “you’re not shopping here, get out!” He yanked my cart away from me, and when I said “I am not leaving!” He said “then I’m calling the cops!”I said “okay call them then!” Then I continued shopping like nothing happened without a cart. Everyone around was shocked at his interaction with me. I almost recorded it, but I was too caught up with the nonsense. He was SO disrespectful, rude, and a diva. He really shouldn’t be in customer service. As I left he said “bye!” Like a diva.Worst Lidl experience EVER!!!!

First time stopping at this location in Pineville. Seems smaller than the other stores. Where is the self checkout?

Had an ok selection. Bakery seems to be good. Most of it was sold. A few things had good prices. Most of the prices were about the same as Food Lion. Staff has no personality whatsoever. I suppose I'm spoiled by the friendly people at other Grocery stores. The guy checking me out said absolutely nothing to anyone. No thank you, no come again, no have a nice day, no drop dead. Nothing. The store was clean. I guess that counts for something. There was really nothing that would make me want to go back.

Very clean grocery store with fresh vegetables, fruits, and a nice small bakery for breads and pastries. Lidl isn’t as large as most other grocery stores, such as Harris Teeter or Whole Foods, but it still has plenty of selection. It’s similar to Aldi but I think it has more products and variety. Be sure to download their mobile app to accrue rewards points and receive discount coupons. Lastly, be sure to bring your own reusable grocery bags.

Somewhat confusing with app and finding “Specials” maybe it’s me but yeaterday I thought I was purchasing items on sale but at checkout only $1.97 saved?! Aldi might not have the upscale feel but in my opinion less expensive and no coupons game or app..Carry more organic as well

Self checkout would have been a good idea to add to a brand new you would think. I waited in line longer than I shopped. There were only two cashiers and one closed his register. Self checkout is needed bigtime or hire more.
