This place was awesome.. what a great idea . Was in the habitat store and must walk by this coffee shop a dozen times but aways in a hurry to stop in . Stop in for just a cup of coffee and muffin for lunch and was told of Julia adventure in life and her humanity to helping others .. my son and daughter law were both in the Peace Corp. In the mountains of Peru. But the real thing is the use books and prices a great deal by its self .. I'm in the process of cleaning our book case now and bringing them some books that they can use. I Promise to stop in more often in the future.

Great coffee drinks inside a used bookstore benefiting a great cause.. I mean, what's not to love?! Order your drinks at the counter, and the friendly staff will call out when it's ready. We loved the vanilla latte and the iced chai latte (both with oat milk). Quality ingredients and perfectly prepared. They also offer some food for sale like pastries, popcorn, and Raw Bites By Risa (which I've had elsewhere and loved). The vibe is comfortable and inviting. Perfect for perusing the rows of books, DVDs, and other items for sale with a delicious beverage in hand. There are also some tables if you'd prefer to sit and stay a while. We came in just before 9am on a Saturday, and there were only a couple of other people, so it was very relaxing. The shop is affiliated with (and connected to) Habitat for Humanity, so you're supporting an incredible cause - and it's super easy to pop right through the door to check out the ReStore and shop for home goods once you're done with the books!

Sweet little cafe overflowing with a huge library of books and music to purchase. It's attached to the Habitat for Humanity Restore on Wendover Rd. I love their hot Chai Lattes.

This is connected to ReStore (a place run by Habitats for Humanity) where people can donate furniture and other home items. (Great if you enjoy thrifting. ?)Although the cafe appears to be a separate business from ReStore - they have their own set of donated products that they also sell - I noticed books, records/vinyls, sheet music, and cute note cards. The products displayed in the cafe are specifically sold in the cafe and must be purchased there (as well as the food/drinks, of course). And vice versa for the products displayed in the ReStore area. While they are separate businesses with separate checkout areas, however, they are really part of one big warehouse and customers can easily go in and out of the cafe and ReStore without going outside to exit one and enter the other. Because of that, I suspect that they are both run by Habitat for Humanity, and I’d also imagine the proceeds from both help the same cause. The people that were working there were really nice, too! I enjoyed talking with them, and they seemed genuinely interested in our conversation.Even the other customers were nice, lol. My mom and I were singing a song from sheet music, trying to remember exactly how the song went. (Obnoxious to do in public, I know… ?) But these two ladies sitting near us said they enjoyed our earlier singing as they were leaving the cafe. ?I’m attaching a picture of the things I bought (for next to nothing!) so people can get idea of the products sold in the café area. ☺️
Parking: There were plenty of available spaces when we went, but it was shortly after they opened and it was my first time going, so I don’t know how the parking situation is during busier hours.
Kid-friendliness: They have lots of books and other things specifically for children. Also, the employees were so nice, I suspect they’d are great with kids that come in. ☺️

Along with the spectacular conversation with a wonderful person everything was great. The price is good for a mom and pop like establishment. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet. We ate wedding cookies that tasted great as well as our raspberry lattes made with almond milk. Definable would recommend going there.
