Dr. Nami is a great doctor however the support staff is just awful. I have literally watched them not pick up the phone because the patient 'was a pain'. Every time I come into the office, they have a horrible attitude and are almost rude to the patients. I've referred other people here who reported they also cannot rely on the staff for medication refills, medical records or even general processing.

I was referred to Dr. Nami by a well regarded immunologist. When I contacted the office, I was scheduled promptly. I have a very unusual set of issues that has stumped doctors for years. He was open-minded, curious, and thorough. He uses a better-than-average lab and had a lab staffer on site, an important distinction. He did a thorough set of labs and reviewed them with me. He recommended supplements (not solely), an approach that has been effective. Two important notes: he was candid about the results and he said "Treat the patient, not the number." That last one is really unusual in my experience. The office management is not as good as it should be and the office itself is modest. I appreciate that he treats a wide range of the community and speaks multiple languages.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave a good review for this rheumatologist. I have been suffering for a year with problems with my hands and body because this rheumatologist did not order enough labs for me. To be fair, he ordered standard rheumatology labs to check for lupus and r.a, but after that he gave up and told me that I had fibromyalgia and told me to take fish oil. Of course I know that it’s not fibromyalgia, so I went to see Dr. George and she actually listened to me. She did a multiple myeloma panel and my light chains came back high. Soon I will most likely be getting a bone marrow biopsy to figure out if my plasma cell disorder is cancer or autoimmune. Basically you have to wait forever to be seen usually over an hour and he spends less than five minutes with you. Go see Dr. George with Tryon Medical group, she’s way more thorough!

Been calling since September, putting in Med rec requests and nothing. I can’t get another appointment with another rheumatologist because YALL won’t answer the phone or complete request from YOUR portal. Horrible experience here and I’ve only had TWO appts. YALL need to start checking YOUR voicemail and messages!! If I were to come up there and DEMAND things I’d be crazy! GIVE ME MY MEDICAL RECORDS SO I CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!

I have been a patient here for 2 years now. I like Dr. Nami, but the rest of the staff can't seem to get it together and have completely dropped the ball on my care. I can never get anyone to call me back, and it has been since January with me not getting any treatment for my Psoriatic Arthritis. The staff says they will look into what's going on and call me right back, and then I just never hear anything. That's fine. Charlotte is a large city with many options. I will go get treatment elsewhere where I am treated with respect and dignity.

Not the greatest medical office, continued to call me when I left for another practice. Front desk staff seemed pretty inconsistent on things and not as professional. The doctor was fine, but It just wasn't the best experience.

Wonderful experience today at my first appointment. He fit me in sooner than any other office in Charlotte for an urgent need. Wait time was short, he had great bedside manner, explained everything thoroughly, and provided a preliminary diagnosis to my situation while waiting on labs. Office staff was fantastic, and his Practice Manager ,Tina, was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Dr. Nami!!!

Dr NAMI is a great Dr. He is very patient explaining what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix it. I’ve never had a Dr that can give shots in a knee with little to no pain I he does. I have seen him several times over the years and he has never changed. His staff has also been great to work with me.

DR Nami is refreshing because he uses integrative medicine and thinks outside the box. . Many times healing is a trial nd error. The patient has to do their part as well. AS for his front office staff.. I will concur with the rest of the reviews. They don't seem to be happy there. .. and frankly could be a detriment to his practice.. Dr Nami does seem to be rushed all the time and I did mention that to him

Worst experience with Dr Nami's staff. Will never return. Called and left several messages regarding medications on different occasions, the first time they never called me back at all. Second time I left 3 messages in the week prior to me going out of town and didn't receive a call back until 12 days after the last message I had left. 12 days. Never had a doctor's office not return my call within the same day. Came back from vacation had an appointment scheduled with him at his uptown office, took off work, had a friend take me and when I arrived the girl asked me had I ACCIDENTALLY cancelled my appointment? Excuse me? I almost lost it. Then she told me she will go ahead and schedule me in because they double book appointments anyway, I said absolutely not I do not have time for this and I just could not believe it, told the girl to give me a doctor note for work that I was leaving. I received a bill from his office yesterday, for a drug test I had ALREADY paid for the previous visit, and is trying to charge me for the appointment that MAGICALLY was cancelled. Unbelievable. Dr Nami is a decent doctor, and so it's really a shame that his staff is so horrible. Will be finding another office and doctor.

not a good experience at all, money hungry doctor pushes people into research for even more money
