Jeff is, by far, one of the best agents I've had the pleasure of working with (many times now, through the years, as I am a loan officer). Real estate agents are a dime a dozen, but the really GREAT ones stand out from the crowd. From the moment I met Jeff at an open house years ago, I knew he was in that elite category. Jeff Markus just sold our townhome in Waxhaw and we were extremely pleased with how he handled all phases of the process. His marketing of the property was exceptional from the beautiful staging, to the best photography I have ever seen. (When you look at his listings on line, you will notice this makes a big difference!)The pricing was spot on and resulted in a quick offer. He offered excellent advice and guidance through the process, He went above and beyond to do whatever needed to be done. We would recommend Jeff without hesitation.

Jeff has been an excellent realtor to my husband and me. He helped us buy and sell our house in Charlotte, NC. His strategy was spot on based on his knowledge and expertise of the market. We sold our house in less than a day and for more than the listed price. He is easy to work with and trustworthy. He never pressured us. He always gave us objective and sound advice. Simply the best. My wife and I have bought and sold many homes over our nearly 40 years together and have not had a better experience than we did working with Jeff. Personable, professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and very detail-oriented. He was always prompt in returning calls and never appeared anything but patient during the process. First let me say, I am not one to write a review unless I really feel strongly about something. But I never hesitated to write this review of Jeff Markus. When we made the decision to move from the Northeast to the Carolinas we knew we had to work with Jeff. Once we told Jeff we were ready to start looking, he spent time discussing with us what we wanted and needed. Shortly there after, links to properties from Jeff began arriving. When we made the decision to build, Jeff walked us through the process and showed us many locations, homes, communities and towns. Jeff really works hard to find the home that best suits his client's needs. His honesty and wealth of knowledge coupled with his vast experience guided us to the right builder, location and property. Jeff is top notch, one that is truly above the rest. He is professional and is so much more than the definition of a Realtor. His dedication to his clients is unparalleled.

I would like to begin by saying that we have been both buyers and sellers on various real estate transactions and have had quite a number of real estate agents over the years. None have come remotely close to providing the impeccable service, care, and commitment that Jeff Markus (from Jeff Markus Homes) provides.From our initial discussion, I knew Jeff was our agent. His understanding of the local market and real estate in general was impressive and second to none. Further, he was respectful and professional, qualities that are imperative for a real estate agent to possess.I received a job offer to relocate to the Charlotte Metro area and unfortunately did not have much familiarity with the local market. In addition, I never visited the area and was not planning to do so for a while. It was during this process that I relied heavily on Jeff to not only visit properties on our behalf but also to serve as our representative. Jeff really went above and beyond to ensure that our voices were heard and that the communication channel always remained open. His contract knowledge and negotiation skills were also a major plus for us since we had no idea how the local markets operate. He was amazing, answering and addressing every single question/issue we raised. Jeff made himself available which seemed to be all the time for us. I tried to avoid late night communications but, in every instance, where those could not be avoided, Jeff was ALWAYS responsive.Since we are not in the area, Jeff also helped facilitate the inspections, appraisals, and other related tasks by going out of his way to be present. He made sure that every step was addressed and that we had the appropriate folks on the job. Jeff is also very organized and responsible. Things don’t fall through the cracks with someone like Jeff and that is extremely valuable when you are purchasing a home hundreds of miles away.We cannot vouch enough for Jeff Markus. He is an outstanding agent that takes pride in his work and his professional relationships. We will certainly use his services in the future and will more than certainly recommend him to our network and to anyone that is looking to buy/sell/rent in the Charlotte metro area.

We really enjoyed working with Jeff! We were moving to a new state, didn’t know the area and it took us several months to figure out where we wanted to buy. Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jeff! This was my first time selling and he was incredibly transparent and knowledgeable. Jeff is an amazing realtor. His tremendous marketing skills, knowledge of the market, and attention to detail made the sale of our home easier than I ever expected. We were under contract before our listing went live and at a record price for our neighborhood. On the other end, finding our next home Jeff was patient and informative during the search and when we found the right one he did everything within his power to get us the best overall deal, not just purchase price, and make ensure the transaction was smooth and on time.
