Have stayed here multiple times due to work and it has not disappointed once. Rooms are clean, breakfast is tasty and fresh, customer service is fantastic.

The room was great! Clean room, clean bathroom, all that. The service was spotty. Various times no one man’s the front desk and there is a silly rule that you have to inform them by 10 am if you want your room cleaned. The most annoying thing is we flew from California for a family reunion, go to Charlotte early and wanted to rest, and we had to pay a ridiculous $25 early check-in fee for a room that was ready. I’ve never had to do that in any of my travels. I enjoyed the hotel, but there were things that would make it a top notch spot if they fix their service and stop nickel and dimeing their guests.

Everyone who worked here was top notch very very polite and helpful. Rooms were well maintained and clean and the food selection is awesome. Definitely get the peanut butter cookies they make them daily I think. The breakfast was nice it had a wide selection of healthy options and good quality everything including fresh fruit and yogurt bar which I appreciate. I would define stay here again. I did not have one bad experience here
Noteworthy details: I can not say enough good things about how kind the staff is. We travel a lot for work and more times than not we deal with garbage attitudes on a regular bases so it was nice to be welcomed by a kind, professional, and helpful staff. I did not see one person slacking or in a bad mood. Every time I spoke with a staff member they were helpful and very warm.

The rooms still had hair on the floors, covers and pillows but other than that- I enjoyed my stay. I also think the filters need to be changed since there was kind of a mildewy/sharp smell in the room whenever the AC unit was on. Another thing, those 2 black girls who were working the night shift were great! I Loved their energy and they had great customer service skills. I started to feel like I was hanging with my girlfriends & Thank you to the kitchen stayfor the amazing food too- can't wait to come back to CLT & stay here again!
Nearby activities: Only about 5-10 minutes away from food spots, ice cream and a boardwalk area you can walk along and see the ducks and get on the paddle river boat

We booked a room a month before we came. We put our card in which is a chime card. We drove 3 hours to be told they won't accept a chime card. We had 3 kids with us. They didn't tell us this when we booked the room. The lady was rude and disrespectful

Visiting UNC. This is a very nice hotel. Good price. They don’t nickel and dime you. Free wi-fi, free parking, free breakfast. Room was large, updated and clean. Staff was very friendly. Side note, stay away from the Cheddars restaurant across the street.

rooms and bathroom were definitely clean. Just no microwave in the room which I was like cmon now. so I literally had to go to the main lobby floor just to warm my food up. also the dryer machine was out so I had to go to the nearest laundromat which was like 10 mins and dry my clothes smh.
Rooms: rooms were clean but no microwave which was lowkey upsetting.

Rooms were quite small (compared to other Hyatt Places we've stayed). There was literally 10 inches gap either side of the bed. They were spotlessly clean though.
Had no towels or shower gel in the room and had to go down to reception to collect some. Staff were very friendly though.
Breakfast was ok. Hate the paper plates and plastic cutlery (again not common in other Hyatt Places we've stayed at). No omelette bar and the pool was closed for the whole of our stay.
Good restaurant choices nearby (all walking distance). Good hotel option for the area.

Customer service was front desk/bar tender Niya Lyons was superb which speaks volumes for the Hyatt Place University Research Center Park in Charlotte, N.C.

I really like this hotel a lot and have stayed a number of times. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. This last stay there was a group on my floor that was really loud. They woke me twice in the night leaving and returning. It sounded like they were in the room with me. I would have given 5 stars had the rings been a bit more soundproof.
Noteworthy details: Excellent view of the Charlotte skyline from rooftop bar/restaurant and pool!

Great hotel. Rooms are always clean. Hotel can ocasionally be short staffed, but the staff that work here are great.
