We stayed here only becos aa had a bad plane. Rooms are very spacious but basic. Service was excellent and location was lose enough. Their airport pickup closes at11.45

It’s definitely not a luxury hotel, but it was clean and functional. Close drive to downtown, Carowinds, and CLT. However, I was most impressed by the great service. The woman who checked us in on the night of the 15th was energetic and welcoming, and the man managing the breakfast the next morning was equally great- clearing plates quickly, chatting with guests, and making sure everyone’s needs were met. Unfortunately, parking is $11/night.Nearby activities: Carowinds

Sheri at the front desk was the greatest ,she made me feel so welcome and offered to help me with Uber, Recommending all the local places,for food and drink. Great experience! Thanks to everyone here in CharlotteWalkability: Across the road a nice plaza .with lots of choices of food

Edit: Good value for the price. Rooms still spacious and clean. Breakfast was not appealing so I didn’t try it. They ran out of coffee, no flavored creamer. Kitchen staff had language barrier- did not understand my questions. Quality of hotel has went down. Some staff not professional from attire to inability to answer questions. Not best experience this visit. Plus it took over a week to release $50 incidental fee!Review 6 years ago: Great hotel! Spacious rooms & excellent customer service. Also love the breakfast!Rooms: Big, spacious, clean.Food & drinks: Breakfast was terrible, presentation awful. Thin overcooked sausage, runny eggs, just threw together. They ran out of coffee, no flavored creamer options.

I missed my connection due to a mechanical issue from Pittsburgh to Charlotte. AA took care of my room. Sha the shuttle driver and Shayla at the hotel were AMAZING AMAZING ?!!!! Thanks ladies ? As a woman of color, I travel often. And I usually have to demand the proper protocol be followed. However, on a day like that 1: full flights ✈️, middle seat ?, mechanical issues, missed flights, long lines, annoyed ppl, it was nice, no make that WONDERFUL to have these ladies be A1. So again ladies THANK YOU ? AND GOD BLESS YOU ?

Had a flight delay so stayed here overnight. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. Room was big and very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

SHUTTLE ISSUES: Was a stranded traveler and stayed here. Staff is nice, but slow and distracted. They are constantly answering phone calls, long wait time to check in and failed to write down shuttle service request for next day. They also did this to other people as we talked to them at breakfast area.Room and breakfast were fine, but would not recommend this hotel.

Over an hour wait to check in, only one computer was operating. They do not have a restaurant as advertised, they have stale prepackaged food they throw in a microwave then charge absurd rates so they can rob the guests that get stranded at their location due to airline issues. The rooms are incredibly noisy, it sounds as if the windows are open.You would be better off sleeping at the airport than taking the “free” voucher the airline offers for this location.The bar tender was great though, she seemed sympathetic and embarrassed by the mess that the hotel is.This is what an $18 “burger” with fries and an $8 beer looks like - the fries are not invisible, they’re nonexistent.

Close to airport. Building and rooms are just barely acceptable. Staff is very friendly. A couple of counter service restaurants right next door, otherwise not much around.

Miss Carol is amazing! Helpful, kind, and kept her calm with 30+ people coming in at once due to a major storm up north and airport closures.

We were placed here for a flight delay.Staff was amazing and very accommodating. Lobby needs updated but rooms were nice. Shuttle to airport was prompt.

This hotel worked well for a stranded traveler stop. The pickup and desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming, which was great after a day of airline failures. The room was good, but nothing memorable to give it extra credit. Unfortunately, no food was available at 9:10pm so I tried the recommended pizza joint for delivery. Sorry to say I hated the pizza. All in all a good night where the airline stranded me.
