Navigating a cross state move from North Carolina to Texas turned out to be a lot more confusing than we had anticipated. After getting bounced around between the broker network, and dedicated movers who were incredibly expensive, I was lucky enough to talk to Herren's owner, Todd.
He explained the moving process, how the pricing worked, and where our items would be along the complete trip. The company was responsive, helpful, and arrived on time both for pickup and delivery. It was a seamless experience for what initially felt like a very stressful process. Everything arrived on time and without any damage.
We will use Todd and Herren's for any future state to state moves. Thank you!

BEWARE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY. They moved us from Charlotte to Wilmington the end of July this year. Things were going okay as they packed and loaded all of our worldly possessions. THE BAD NEWS FOR US the the RIDICULOUS amount of damage and breakage they caused our property. Broken furniture that had to be carpenter repaired. Framed art work with damaged frames and shattered glass. Broken power tools. LOTS of broken glass. Legs broken off furniture that had to be repaired. Scuffs, scratches, broken filing cabinets....it goes on and on. OF COURSE THEY WERE PAID WHEN THE TRUCK ARRIVED AT OUR NEW HOME, SO WE DIDN'T KNOW HOW CARELESS THEY HAD BEEN.

These guys were absolutely top-notch. I must say that over the years I've been very disappointed with just about any experience I've had with a moving company. Can't say enough good things about the Herren's team. My driver/supervisor was Tony. He and his guys did an outstanding job. Perfect combination of good people skills and really hard workers. They showed up on time (early), worked hard the entire time, broke / damaged nothing. I used them to store everything for almost a week before moving in to my new place, and they showed up there on time and not a single thing was damaged or missing. I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, but it's the least I can do in this instance. Oh, their pricing was extremely competitive too.
