Ok, so I can't find the brand of wild rice I prefer, so I stopped by the local Harris Teeter near me. I went into the store looking for the aisle that had the rice sign, and an employee was right behind me, and he asked if he could help me? So, I said no, I'm fine.
As I'm looking for the brand that I wanted, an employee comes down the aisle with a shopping cart of basically trash, acting as if she's scanning items, now as you know scanners make a sound but this didn't. So now I'm thinking, are they watching me? ? Hmm, ok. As I proceeded to leave, I looked ahead, and now I know they're definitely watching me because the guy who originally asked me if I needed help is standing with another man watching me. So, I asked the question, and the older guy spoke up and said that the guy had issues. If so, why is he working there? but I say he's watching me as if I'm planning on stealing, which is ridiculous ? I am so upset that this is still happening, especially without cause. There is no reason for me to steal from a store or anywhere or from anyone. I feel violated, I haven't felt like this since I left my hometown over 20 years ago.

I don't come here frequently but I've been here several times over the years and it's pretty decent for the most part. It's not a heavy traffic location, which I really like. I do think the workers can be more welcoming but it's seem as though that is the new culture nowadays lol. Also, I don't like the fact that they don't have a salad or a hot bar. They do have hot chicken but it's always seems to be very limited. It's never fully stocked whenever I'm there. Anywho, I said all of that to say if you're hoping to grab some hot food while shopping this is not the location for you unless you want to check out the restaurants in the nearby plaza.

Lady in deli department named Kim was very rude to my husband and I. We greeted her was polite. She had a attitude the entire time she made our sandwich's. Hopefully we don't encounter her again if we get a craving for a good ol foot long. Don't want to be in her presence again very uncomfortable. You shouldn't make people feel as if they are an inconvenience . If you don't like your job get a different one.

Yesterday I had a horrible experience with a black lady. This lady was yelling at me for no reason. I needed help deleting my eggs from my cart but she came over there and said she will not be doing anything and she did not offer to take my Harris teeter card. Very very disappointed. Awful experience!

Why did the lady making my sub look at me like she wanted to murder me, and my whole family. I got one sub with minimal toppings, and this lady was shooting eye daggers through my soul. Felt like I needed to apologize for being there.

I’ve continued to shop here despite the fact I’ve accidentally bought (and had to return) expired food MULTIPLE times over the past few years. (Ranging from both dairy products to boxes of crackers.) But what truly upset me was a clerk who outright refused to TRY and offer me any help with a $25 Amazon gift card I purchased here. It wasn’t activated properly even though I paid for it. I asked if they could help look up the receipt which I unfortunately no longer have. Without hesitation or even apology they said no. Now, as a long-time retail worker myself (including grocery) I know very well you can if you have the credit card number that was used in the transaction. It may take a little extra work or research but it can be done. So anyway. I’m just out $25 on that gift card now because no one here can be bothered to lift a finger. $25 may not seem like a big deal but in the present day economy, it is. It’s very much a big deal. So now, I choose to drive out of my way to Publix than come right around the corner to this Harris Teeter that I can walk to. Good job y’all. Great service.
