I was going through a LOT with my hair and out of desperation I reached out to Lauren to see if there was anything that could be done. She was able to fit me in for not only a consultation , but also a cut and treatment. AND all in 45 minutes!!! I was in and out and felt SO much better! She was SO nice and understanding with my situation. I have booked my follow up and will not be putting the health journey for my hair, in her more than capable hands!! I love going to Hair Majesty. Lauren is always prepared when arrive. I also love the personal experience of not having anyone else in the shop while I am there. She always does a great job and very responsive to any questions I may have. I've been going to her for over 4 years. She's the best!!!

I spent over $700 with Lauren in 10 days between two appointments. The first time she washed and conditioned my color damaged hair and did a great job. She also added clip ins which were great. However, the awful job that she did on my sew in and coloring the hair was awful because of the way she handled it after. Three days after the sew in I noticed the tracks coming up. Not only were they coming up but I could slide my finger under them because they were not sewn down correctly. On top of that, you could see all the braids on this botched sew in because she only added one bundle of hair when I paid for two. I went to another stylist to correct the sew in and she could not because of the way Lauren braided my hair which I have plenty of. On the sides of my head you could see the string and netting. The color was horrible. Even though I gave her several pictures of me, not a celebrity, with the exact color I wanted, it was totally wrong. After arranging to come back to her salon 45 minutes away, I decided not to let her re color because of how poorly she did it the first time and asked for a refund. I only wanted a refund of the color for $60 back to my credit card, but she gave me the excuse that she did not know how to refund back via Square and she could via a cash app. I do not use those and told her I did not have an account. However, she sent the refund to me via Zelle, disregarding what I told her, and told me Good night. Her refusal to refund my money the way I paid her was very unprofessional. After asking if she was only going to refund me for one of the poorly done services and her not responding to my question, her only response was to send me $60 refund via Zelle which I did not accept and told her to keep because I deserved more for the horrible experience. On top of that, she decided to get offended when I filed a complaint online and jeopardize my employment and income. Her attitude and nastiness and threatening my employment and income showed her character. See photos.Service: Hair extensions

From the initial phone call to the end of my first appointment was pleasant. She was very professional, yet engaging. She explained each step of the service I was getting, and even gave advise about maintaining my style-something most stylists fail to do because it doesn't add money to their wallet. The greatest experience of my visit was the final result! Mrs. Lauren's hands are blessed! I got the smoothing system (I have Naturally Curly hair) but left with bone straight hair, with little manipulatation- something I greatly appreciate! My hair has been neglected over the past year due to the pandemic, but it has been revived??. If you're in need of a natural hairstylist, I highly recommend her. Don't take my word for it, just book her! Thank you so much, Lady! You're stuck with me☺️

I have been with Lauren for almost 5 years! I am a breast cancer survivor, lost all my hair due to the chemo and radiation treatments. I used to get tree braids all the time to help grow my hair back. I met Lauren in the salon one day and She turned me on to sew ins and natural hair care. Within the first year, my hair was down my back, strong, beautiful and healthy!! She is very professional, knowledgeable, stays on top of her training to learn the new up to date styles and techniques and she takes so much pride in the work she does. I have been nothing but pleased! I have recommended her to several people and I will continue to do so!!

Lauren is the absolute best! She has been my beautician for over 5 years. She is more than a \\\"stylist\\\". She is a true professional that has an amazing knowledge of natural hair care. Lauren is very versatile in her skills. I've had so many different styles and each one just as flawless as the last. I love her! She's also my daughter and mother's beautician so that also speaks volumes!

Excellent and Professional! Lauryn is one of the best Stylist I have ever had! I have lived in Miami, DC and New York. Lauryn’s knowledge, care and professionalism is at a high standard. Lauryn accepted me as a last minute client after another Stylist botched my hair color. Lauryn was able to reverse the color without any additional damage or hair lost. In her care my edges have returned after 3 months and my hair is healthy and flourishing and she is AMAZING! A true Stylist well versed in color, extensions and most importantly hair care. Lauren has been my stylist for the last four years. My hair is natural and I’m very particular about the products I use. Lauren has ensured that my hair has stayed healthy, continues growing and does protective styles that protects my hair. She is personable and professional in business. She also ensures that my daughter’s hair stays healthy. I can’t say enough about her great work.

Lauren has been the hair stylist for my daughter and I for 5 years. She’s always professional and goes the extra mile to keep us pleased. She’s on time, clean, and does great work. We’ve done hair extensions, color, and natural styles. She takes pride in her work and it shows. Lauren is the BOMB!!

First appointment with Laurin was great. She conditioned my color damaged hair very well but the sew in and highlight job was terrible. Although I sent her pictures of me with the color that I wanted my hair highlighted she got it wrong. The hair started shedding two days later and the tracks were coming up on the side and in the back. She offered to redo it but I did not want her coloring the hair again because she got the color so wrong the first time. She refunded me the money for the color job. Now Iam going to spend more time and money to another stylist to have her work redone. She overpromised and under delivered. UPDATE: I just left a salon to have all the tracks tightened. Some could not be tightened because of the braid pattern especially those on the right side so now I have to hope the track does not stick up. I have more than enough hair but the way my hair was braided she had nothing to attach to. After all the money I paid to have someone redo my hair three days later is more than frustrating. Getting $60 back for the color isn't even enough for the way this looks. I should not be able to slide my finger under a track. And after freely giving this woman information to give to her husband to help him get his business started this is the terrible way she did my hair. And I only have 1 bundle of hair in my head not 2 that was confirmed by the stylist who tried to redo her work.
