I can never quite understand why women have to go through so much just to get their car looked at. This is the second time that I’ve been to a shop that is clearly for oil changes and they’re saying that they don’t offer the service and can’t help me.. I can never understand. I came here for oil change and inspection, something that’s posted on the signs on the road and they can’t do that. So if you are a woman in need of an oil change please have a man with you because the answer changed when my man went in there alone.

I blew out a tire while driving far away from home and pulled into the parking lot across the street from the Greasy Axle (in front of Family Dollar). A google search led me to calling the Greasy Axle based on proximity to where I’d pulled over. Russell came over right away and put my donut on. (Which based on how heavy the tire was and how tight those lug nuts were I never would have been able to do myself!) He was friendly and quick and really such a godsend in this stressful moment. Thank you Russell!

Definitely shop around before purchasing services here, they overcharge for services that are much cheaper at other shops.

John (assume the owner) is disrespectful to women and makes things a pain when you have to do an insurance claim for repairs. I doubt you’d be happy if someone treated your daughters (if you had them) the way you treat customers. A shame.

Do NOT come here if you plan to do repairs using insurance coverage. They will hold onto your state license plate (which is against the law and a misdemeanor) not fully fix the damages but give people a hard time with a shit attitude after being in an accident. I get you want to be paid but maybe consider a different line of work where you don't have customers because clearly you are lacking in people skills John. And or don't accept payments through insurance providers, because as you should know the mailing of payment doesn't happen overnight especially on a damn holiday.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would!!!!If you are considering getting any service done at this place, DONT!!The customer service at this place is DISGUSTING.The owner is absolutely rude and horrid.The workers are alright though.My best friend was in an accident and went through her insurance to file a claim and have her repairs taken care of here.The manager John was an absolute dick the entire experience. He has a piss poor attitude and then tried withholding my best friends car even AFTER the insurance mailed him his check.She was basically punished for simply being in an accident. All because he was scared that he wouldnt get paid.Once he got the check he said she could get her car... HER LICENSE PLATE WAS TAKEN OFF(WHICH IS ILLEGAL BTW) He stole her license plate off and never said anything about it until she kept calling to try and get it back.Not to mention, the place smelled like a damn ashtray from 1999. DO NOT COME HERE

I had the best experience. Needed passenger side CV axle replaced in my Lexus Hybrid. They were very friendly, and timely, and informative. I would recommend getting a quote from them before visiting elsewhere. I will definitely return for new brakes very soon.Service: Steering & suspension repair
