We worked with Matt V. on our new insurance policy. He is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable on both home and auto. I'd recommend anyone looking to add/change their current insurance policy to reach out to Goosehead Insurance!

Unprofessional! Irresponsible! The agency owner, Ryan Mahoney, let my policy lapse and informed me to call the office for one of his agents, Davajah Eve, to resolve the situation. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Davajah and suddenly the call transferred to the automated survey at Goosehead. Obviously, I left a bad review for Davajah, because she did not call me back and ended her shift, leaving me with NO insurance coverage over the weekend. I hope to god my house doesn't burn down over the weekend. If you, as the home owner, value your home, DO NOT work with Goosehead. I'm blown away with the amount of incompetence I've experienced so far. I expect that the owner, if they let my policy expire, that they would personally handle the issue. I also expect that if an agent accidentally hangs up the call after leaving me on hold for an hour and a half, that they would call me right back to get my home covered over the weekend. After calling back a 3rd time, Tradd was helpful in getting a new policy set up after others dropped the ball.

They're great at getting you an initial policy, but are not great if you want to change or cancel that policy. Do not use Goosehead insurance, specifically Blake Manhart. I tried to connect with this agent for several months to re-quote or change my insurance. I still have not heard back after trying every mode of scheduling time. Just terrible customer service that seems lazy and unconcerned about doing their job.

Words can not express how grateful I am to have found Ryan. He explained the insurance industry in a language that I was able to understand, and was able to find me a more competative rate with better coverage than what I had. Rare to find someone who actually cares about what they are doing..... client for life!!!!!

Horrible insurance agency, do not waste your time. This was recommended to me by my real estate agent and I thought they would make my life easier. I initially worked with Ryan Mahoney and then for some reason was transferred to Matt Vlissades. As other people have stated, these people have no time for you. Every time I tried to get in touch with Ryan he would send me a link to make an appointment at his office. Our insurance from hippo increased substantially so I worked with Matt to get a new policy. This was a nightmare of a process but a few weeks later we got an email fromThis new policy stating they had dropped us and backdated the cancellation. Goosehead couldn’t find us a new policy because we “lapsed” and because of the fact that Matt told this agency that we had a gable roof, when in fact we have a flat roof. To make matters worse, Matt omitted this mistake he made and tried to blame the situation on me. I’ve never worked with such rude people in my life. They both then proceeded to ignore my calls and texts and dropped me from their agency. They took zero responsibility for their mistakes. No apology, and no assistance to help us get new insurance. We now have no homeowners insurance thanks to Matt’s mistake. I’ve tried to get in touch with Goosehead and I’ve been waiting for a call from someone for three days. I’ve called everyday to see why no one has called me back and someone assures me that a manager will call.

I share the sentiment of the other reviewer. If I could give negative stars I would. Blake absolutely doesn’t have time for you, I assure you that. I had a home break-in two weeks after I closed & they cut all my electrical wiring out for scrap. This agency is particular is just awful & takes ZERO responsibility to help you after your policy is bound. And they will tell you, they are only there to get new business… they have an 800 number & client contact center for service after you’re “sold.”My realtors agency sends them well over 100 clients a year & when he reached out to try to help me get a resolution… he got no response. He was shocked. His whole agency has stopped sending them business.
